About this ebook

This book uncovers those who deal in the spread of the hatred of Muslims. From Donald Trump and his allies Steve Bannon and Newt Gingrich, to the rise of the Front National in France, websites like Breitbart and ‘liberal’ anti-Muslim campaigners such as Bill Maher and Richard Dawkins.

Revealing a world of conservative bloggers, right-wing talk show hosts, evangelical religious leaders and politicians, The Islamophobia Industry uncovers their scare tactics, traces their sources of funding and exposes the ideologies that drive their lucrative propaganda machine.

It's a pretty good book for anyone looking to study and examine the rise of Islamophobia in the Western world and gives a clear picture of what goes behind the whole process of spreading anti-Islamic propaganda. Lean gives the reader a lot of relevant examples to explain his rather interesting idea of the Islamophobia industry.
On the flip side though, Lean's views seem rather vehemently put forth at certain times, especially when he speaks of Fox News with great contempt, which maybe comes from his passion for the topic. Lean's blatant criticism for the right and the fact that he doesn't seem to try and understand it's point of view is another limiting factor.
Otherwise, go ahead and read it. Good book. Lot's of exciting stuff!
