On his way home from hockey practice one evening Riley notices a break in the fence of the old 'Good Prospect' cemetery. Stepping through pulls Riley into a personal nightmare of cold and blood setting him on a path that could lead him to be one of the most powerful Wizards in the world.

The February snow crunches under my feet walking up Jenny Street. I’m just passing Good Prospect cemetery after hockey practice at the Grace Armitage High School rink and heading home. I was warmer standing on the ice than I am now, I think to myself, balling my fingers into a fist inside my gloves to keep them warm. This is not OK.
All my gear, skates, pads, puck and tape are in the oversize black and gold Boston Bruins bag slung over my shoulder. I balance my Victoriaville hockey stick, signed by none other than the great Bobby Orr himself, over my other shoulder. I smile slightly, remembering that Mom calls this my ‘Hockey Hobo’ look.
Dad and I both love hockey. It’s one of our things. The Victoriaville was his stick growing up. Dad actually met Bobby Orr when his high school team won their Stanley Cup. He gave the stick to me when I turned ten. Dad was as excited to pass it to me as I was to have it. That is one of the days permanently burned into my mind.
Looking at him you’d never be able to tell how happy he was that day. Dad had
