About this ebook

Jonathan Hernández presents a collection of images of one of the most abundant products of the era of masses: printed paper. The contemporary world would be incomprehensible without this subtle paper revolution that gave words to the masses. However, in spite of this thousand year-old protagonist role, printed paper is currently relinquishing its place to the faster and intangible electronic media. Each image that Jonathan Hernández presents us with is a digital reproduction of an image once printed on paper. And each one of these shows one of the social uses of paper. Its plot, discontinuous and fragmented, takes us from the most crudely material realm to the intangible space of desire. And all this from the conscious paradox of a work that will never be embodied on paper.
