Early Church Beliefs and Practices: Journey towards Knowledge
()
About this ebook
Pagan religious beliefs began or continued after Noah’s flood and they argued that their religion was older and its gods superior to Judaism and Christion gods. Indeed, out of Babylon came a pagan religion with rituals quite similar to Christianity today.
- What was the gospel?
- Had mankind already lost their inheritance due to their sins and the penalty for sin?
- How did Christ’s disciples worship?
- Do you understand God’s calendar purpose and spiritual parallels?
- What did Emperor Constantine really do for the early Christian Church?
- Where do Nimrod and Semiramis fit in the “Babylonian Mysteries?”
- Do we have spiritual adversaries fighting against seeking our failure and death?
- What is to be learned from Christ’s resurrection?
- Where was Satan’s church located in the past and its location today?
The early Christians and Jesus’ disciples worshiped in Jewish synagogues. The message of Christ was also preached to the Gentiles. Around 50 AD Gentiles were freed from and didn’t have to abide under the Mosaic Laws. Christianity and Judaism began to separate from one another at that point. The last apostle of Christ dies 100 AD and change does begin in the early Christian Church.
By 110 AD the term Catholic Church came into use. In 1500’s the Protestant Reformation began. It led to a separation of rebelling Christians into Protestant Churches from the Catholic Church.
The Bible has more in it than shalt nots. It describes early Christians and what they believed in. I suggest it wasn’t the Trinity doctrine which was around before the Catholic Church. The good news is that we have handbook, the Bible, to guide as well as illuminate our minds both physical and spiritual.
God’s laws and plan continues. Seven feasts with some holy days similar to the Sabbath were set up for us to keep and learn from. Events shaped these holidays for our remembrance and understanding.
Jesus’ expectations for His church were shared in the Bible. When you buy a car an operating manual is still provided for your use. Man’s operating manual is in the Bible. The Bible is still unread, probably never to be taught in public schools to young minds.
This book will hopefully get you to realize the destiny awaiting you. For you will soon be a son or daughter in God’s family with a brother, Jesus, rooting for you. Or, be ashes others walk on, unnoticed and forgotten, useless in fulfilling God’s plan. Make the journey this book points out and gain the Holy Spirit. Without the Holy Spirit dwelling inside you, your knowledge is limited to superstitions and rumors not the truth as it should be.

Early Church Beliefs and Practices - Ronald E. Newton
Religion Origins
Babylon
God established His religion from the heavens as well as on this planet. Man, His creation, had a free will choice to make: Worship God or turn away and worship his heart’s desire. Often man chose not to serve and or worship God. Mankind made for themselves gods to serve which pleased them. Man would be exalted and in control, not God! This is the description of one religion in Noah’s time. Man left to his own devices can grow evil in deeds and morals.
In the civilization of Nimrod and Semiramis, his wife, created the Babylonian Mystery Religion for everyone after the flood sent by God wiped out humanity except for Noah’s family, of which Nimrod was a great-grandson. Semiramis was Nimrod’s mother and wife. Some claim that she killed her husband and almost did the same to her own son. Nimrod was murdered his
body cut up into many pieces. Semiramis found them all except for Nimrod’s sex organ. Esau ambushed Nimrod and killed him according to Yasher 27:4.
Nimrod is mentioned in the Bible four times:
Genesis 10:8
Genesis 10:9
I Chronicles 1:10
Micah 5:6
Semiramis was known as the god Ishtar in her religion. Over the centuries she was known by other names: Isis, Diana, Astarte, Ishtar, Aphrodite, Venus, and Easter. Her son was also given many names: Apollo, Horus, Sol, Krishna, Hercules, Mithra, and Jesus. Constantine named Jesus as Hesus Horus Krishna, later shortened to Jesus H. Christ. IHS stands for Isis, Horus, and Seb, the sun gods. She instituted a holy day commemorating the death/resurrection of her son Tammuz. That holy day was Easter. Tammuz’s birthday was the December solstice. Easter was the resurrection from death to the living of Tammuz. The times were keyed to the equinox and solstice that occurred every year and were known by astrologers.
Hebrews ate the paschal lamb on their Passover. The Christians ate ham for Easter, a vile animal in Jewish eyes. Semiramis was a great fertility symbol, the Queen of Heaven, and mother of god. Note that Baal did desire children sacrifice by fire to himself. The blood of children colored the Easter eggs of her time. People ate gingerbread men to remind themselves of human sacrifices. The symbols of her holiness were the dove, the colored Easter egg, hot cross buns, gingerbread men, and Christmas trees.
People of those times were just as gullible as those of our own times.
Now let me tell you a wonderful sordid story that Semiramis told her people who believed her! When Nimrod died he ascended into heaven and became the sun god Baal. A ray of light impregnated her since she was the moon god who came to earth in a big moon egg after she ovulated for 28 days. The moon egg fell into the Euphrates River and Ishtar emerged.
She gave birth to her son Tammuz who became a mighty hunter taking after his father. One day he was killed by a boar. Tammuz ascended into heaven to be a god like his father. Father and son could be worshiped by the sacred light of candles or lamps. When her son was killed by a wild pig some of his blood spilt on an evergreen tree stump a tree sprouted overnight. She declared a 40 days time of sorrow before Easter when no meat would be eaten. Perhaps the wild pig became the reason for eating ham on Easter? Also her worshipers would make the sign of T
when they meditated upon Nimrod and Tammuz. On December 25th Nimrod would return and leave gifts under the tree for his followers. He held a reindeer, had a long beard, and carried a Christmas tree with him. This might be a stretch for your imagination, but I see similarities between Santa Claus and Nimrod. Let me ask you a question. Do you believe what Semiramis told her people?
The Bible has many verses describing what to do with idols, altars, and trees.
Exodus 23:24: Thou shalt not bow down to their gods, nor serve them, nor do after their works: but thou shalt utterly overthrow them, and quite break down their images.
Destroy the symbols of the pagan. Don’t bow or worship idols around you. Don’t accept their philosophies into your life.
Exodus 34:13 - 14: But ye shall destroy their altars, break their images, and cut down their groves: ¹⁴For thou shalt worship no other god: for the Lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God:
Worship the true God not pagan gods.
Deuteronomy 7:5: But thus shall ye deal with them; ye shall destroy their altars, and break down their images, and cut down their groves, and burn their graven images with fire.
God demands that you clear out from around you pagan idols and images, altars, and
