    'I am always attracted or influenced by the fragrance of a lady and I always remember every event concerning to lovely ladies . I can distinguish each group of ladies through their fragrance like everyone can distinguish a flower from another flower due to their fragrance. Another reason for distinguishing a lady from another lady through the fragrance is that, I find each and every lady is beautiful, very beautiful or extremely beautiful ( Due to bad eye sight/).Through fragrance I come to know the character and behaviour of a lady even before a formal introduction.'     But, identification of a lady by her fragrance for a normal person may be illusionary and as such, it may be a psychological problem on the part of the narrator. Therefore, relating fragrance with nature of a lady may be imaginary and is not based on any scientific study on the part of the narrator nor it carries any scientific reasoning.
    In the entire narration, intentionally, I have not mentioned even a single name of any lady or gentleman.

    Born in a teachers' family in a village of Assam, a province of India, Borah started his journey of writing at a tender age of eleven. He published two novels in Assamese language and other fictional and non-fictional stories in Assamese periodicals during his college days. Then Borah almost stopped his literary activity for more than three decades. In the meantime he became a Gender specialist.However,so far, he has published more than one hundred and sixty five books on this platform in English and one book in Hindi within a span of five years. The books are on different topics like inspiration,romance and love, humour, ghosts, suspense thriller, children etc and those are written both in prose and poetry.Eight English and two Assamese books are also available in printed form. 2nd edition of his first book, 'Random Thoughts' is also in the public domain.

      Preface

      This e-booklet is dedicated to my mother and all lovely women who have more or less influence in shaping my life.

      Identification of a lady by her fragrance for a normal person may be illusionary and as such, it may be a psychological problem on the part of the narrator, who is a very close friend of mine. Therefore, relating fragrance with nature of a lady may be imaginary and is not based on any scientific study on the part of the narrator nor it carries any scientific reasoning.

      I intend to write a poem on these feelings of the narrator. But, as my wife says, I am a very bad poet, instead of writing a poem of romance, I have written ‘melody of fragrance’ in prose form. Intentionally, I have not mentioned even a single name in the whole e-book including the name of my friend who is the narrator of the whole story. The whole book is presented as he had told me on the side lines of a meeting, though I am not claiming that the story is reproduced in verbatim.

      I am personally thankful to all the members of my nucleus family, my spiritual daughters, my sister, cousins, classmates and the members of in-laws’ family for their encouragement for writing something. I am thankful to Google for giving me a lot of insights into different flowers and their pictures (images). For cover page, I am thankful to my son, Ayusman. Finally I am thankful to Smashwords for publishing the e-book in their website.

      I submit my sincere apology to all my friends (male), brother, cousins (male) for not mentioning about them in the book. Though, the fragrance of my only son, not like as described in the narration, gives me immense pleasure at any time, at any place. However, the narrator in his narration, has not mentioned about fragrance of brothers, sons, father, male cousins etc. But I love them all.
