This book contains a collection of twenty poems dealing with the essence of life. The poems in this book depict the lessons life demonstrates in front of our eyes but which we either fail to perceive or choose to ignore.
Jacky Robinson rightly said- "A life is not important except in the impact it has on other lives". The poet only wishes to touch the lives of people with his poems and help them realize the worth of life and lives.
Adhish Mazumder
Adhish Mazumder is a Medical Biotechnology student born in a small town on the banks of river Hooghly on the outskirts of the City of Joy, Kolkata in the year 1996. Being from the city rich in stories about the natives obsession with literature and writing, he inculcated the flare for the same from a young age. Engaged in academics and medicine he still finds time somehow to keep his interest for writing alive. He uses words in various styles and techniques to communicate ideas and paint a literary picture for his readers. He invokes his life experiences as well as creativity to form a beautiful concoction creating a magical realm where his readers are forced to think and expect the unexpected. His first book Versed with Life is his effort to make a statement and mould the minds of younger generations to see life in a broader view. It is rightly said that the best things in life comes for free and hence instead of striving towards materialism we should aim to enjoy the natural joys while we still have them. The stories versed in the poetry book are not his figment of imagination but the result of his interaction with people from all phases of life during his involvement in social works and his own experiences in life.

My grandfather used to say that a poet should be a person who touches the hearts of people with their works and in doing so ignite a new flame in them to live their lives with new zeal and envision their world as never before. I have always tried to live up to this standard and in doing so I have learned a lot of things in the process from a lot of people whom I want to acknowledge.
First let me thank the almighty for maneuvering my life in such a way which always led me through hard choices and tough lessons. I always found an indented lesson in all of them which probably helped me culminate my view to the bright side of the struggles in life. My family, my friends, the people who came in my life — stayed with me — and the people who went with time – I want to thank all of them for leaving behind a lesson which made me understand the values of life which can’t
