    Why Do It?

I’ve been using self-hypnosis since I was a teenager. I suffered from lack of confidence, and learned self-hypnosis to help overcome this problem. Since then, I’ve used self-hypnosis in many different ways, such as improving my memory, visualizing goals, motivating myself, and improving my health. I regularly use self-hypnosis as a form of mental rehearsal before an important meeting, or a radio or TV interview.

Self-hypnosis can be useful in many areas of life. It can help you eliminate negative behaviors and beliefs, and replace them with a positive approach to life. It can help you manage stress, anxiety, and most emotional problems. It is frequently used to control and manage pain. Self-hypnosis can increase your learning ability and memory recall. It provides relaxation to your body, mind and soul. It can help attract abundance in all its various forms, such as love, happiness, positive family relationships, good friends, success, and wealth.

I used to suffer terribly from jetlag after long flights. As I live in New Zealand, but travel frequently to Europe and the United States, this was a major concern for me. This problem ended when I started using self-hypnosis on airplanes. I’m embarrassed to admit that I discovered this particular use of self-hypnosis by accident. I was on a long haul flight, and couldn’t fall asleep. I thought that as sleep was impossible, I might as well hypnotize myself to help pass the time. Once in a hypnotic state, I told myself I’d arrive at my destination feeling refreshed
