About this ebook

This is a book about the experiences of "Pdude" or "Parked Dude" as he is known on the internet, who is "just a guy with Parkinson's disease". After being diagnosed with young onset Parkinson's disease (prior to the age of 50), he decided like some others to deal with it in one way by starting a website and blog detailing his experiences. This book contains his experiences in the course of a year since his diagnosis. The material in this book is his blog entries from his popular blog, as well as some bonus material. This is not an educational book on Parkinson's disease, nor is it a scientific book. This book contains one man's perspective on living with Parkinson's disease through the course of that year since diagnosis. You will see his optimism, yet he doesn't sugar coat the rough times created by living with the disease. You get a glimpse of how he handles telling others, handling losses of some of his abilities, and dealing with going from having a successful career to becoming disabled.
