    Jack gets publicly dumped by his girlfriend Alice, who then walks away with a mysterious stranger.
    Jack does a bit of investigation and discovers that the mysterious stranger is a guy named Roland Seymour. It seems that Roland Seymour deals a bit of weed and also drives a stolen car. Roland Seymour is also dealing the weed without giving the local drug kingpin a cut of the action.
    Jack then forms a plan.
    The key elements of Jack's plan are to get the VIN and the license number from Roland Seymour's car and then report the stolen to the police while the drug lord's boys break into Roland's apartment. The police then arrest Roland Seymour for his stolen car. The drug lord's boys replace some of Roland Seymour's belongings with stuff that's not only stolen, but also involved in other crimes.
    With Roland Seymour in custody, Jack becomes involved with the police, the FBI, the DEA and a local known as the Colonel. Jack is in big trouble, especially when the Colonel proves to have a sexy young daughter.
    The Colonel has great power and Jack finds himself in a new, dangerous but interesting, situation.

I did go to high schools, but I never really learned anything there. I eventually graduated from the University of California at Los Angeles, UCLA, with a degree in mathematics.I work as a Systems Analyst and also make a part of my living as a professional gambler (legal in Nevada.)       Just call me Jack. I'm your basic average height, average weight and average looks kind of guy. If I should happen to sit next to you on a bus, you can't describe me after I get off.

      I have a date with Alice. I have put some time and effort into getting to know Alice, who's a hot looking chick. My date with Alice must be at the birthday bash for Old George who's a locally semi-famous old reprobate. He throws a birthday bash for himself each year and all the locals have to attend his birthday bash just to maintain street cred.

      Alice and I walk into the Big Dog Saloon and into the middle of Old George's birthday bash. I leave Alice with some friends while go and I buck the lines at the bar. By the time I get back with a couple of glasses of wine, Alice is gone. No one knows where Alice has gone, or at least no one is willing to tell me, where she's gone.

      I look like a fool. Worse yet, there's nothing I can do without looking like a bigger fool. I stand just a little apart from my former friends, because no one wants to stand too close to a loser. I don't want to just slink away, but I'm at a loss as to what else I can do.
