These diets serve specific purposes, one being to help treat diabetes and the other to help with gluten intolerances and allergies.
The first section covers diabetic recipes. Diabetics are on very restrictive diets, meaning there are certain foods they can and cannot consume. The fact of the matter is that diabetes is managed best thought a proper diet, enabling the person to live a healthy normal life as possible. These recipes serve to do just that, to help treat and manage diabetes through diet by providing ingredients safe for the diabetic to eat.
The recipes section for entrees contains enough recipes to cover almost 2 weeks of meal plans. Each recipe came from creativity and we invite you to embellish the recipes and enhance them to your own liking.
One feature of this book is the diabetics' recipe nutritional information.
Many diabetics are taught to look for certain nutrition information on the foods they eat to help them make the best choices for their meals. Knowing the exact fat and carbohydrate count helps to make informed choices with the foods. Some diabetics may be on stricter diets and need to know this vital information.
