About this ebook
Every day, Antonio Vivaldi composes a new orchestral piece, and every day, the orphan Candida transcribes Vivaldi's masterpiece into sheet music for the Invisible Orchestra. Nobody notices Candida or appreciates her hard work.
But one day Candida accidentally slips a poem she wrote into the sheet music and the girl so often behind the shadows gets recognized for her own talents. Vivaldi really did have an Invisible Orchestra made up of orphan girls he taught to play. This beautiful book pays tribute to their inspiration.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This story was a lovely display of dreams coated in warm soothing undertones that will be a great book to read to toddlers during their napping time period. I was captivated simply by the illustrations and style of paintings; they seemed to enhance the content of the story. Even though this was a fictional tale on the composer Vivaldi, it has so much truth to the story that readers will begin to question its authenticity. Many musical composers are known to get ideas from their environments whether it's from a gust of wind, a chilling night, or something as common as a house cat; they usually write their music as a responds to that feeling.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Clever and appealing.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Historical fiction - mostly fiction, but beautifully written and full of 'what ifs.'
