Reviews of the “Study It” Series/
"It’s obviously an amazing learning tool” - Canada AM, National Morning Show
Study "It": English as a Second Language series is an engaging textbook for teaching non-native English speakers. It takes advantage of the format to include video and audio in a way that supports the lessons and never feels added on as an "enhancement." The textbook uses a number of different assessment formats to allow users to test themselves throughout the book and see their scores. The book even uses the Note function effectively for long-form answers. While the content of the book is challenging, it makes learning grammar easy and fun. - 2015 Digital Book Award Review, New York
“The Study It textbooks are a set of interactive English language multi-touch textbooks that are a fraction of the cost of a paper textbook” - Digital Journal
The Study It ESL textbook series has been awarded the QED Certification. The QED stands for Quality, Excellence, Design. It is the seal of approval of ebooks and enhanced books. All recipients of the QED have passed a thorough, independent 13-point quality assurance test. - QED Panel

Learn it Present Perfect Continuous
Watch the video explanation here: http://www.studyitbooks.com/4_1_keynote.html
In many languages, there is no Present Perfect tense. There is a Past, Present and Future tense, but the Present Perfect tense refers to both the past AND the present. So it is very difficult to translate. This is one of the reasons why many teachers will tell you: don’t translate
! Some things in English can’t be translated because you do not have it in your language!
Another reason it is difficult to understand the Present Perfect is because the context
or the situation
is very important. More than any other tense, with the Present Perfect you must understand what is happening.
The Present Perfect Continuous Tense looks like this:
I have been waiting for 10 minutes.
The structure is very similar to the Present Perfect, except we add the -ing
to the past participle plus been
.
I have been doing my homework since 2pm.
I have been working here for 8 hours.
The form is the same:
Have + Been + Verb + ing
What’s the Difference?
You can use 3 verbs with the Present Perfect or Present Perfect Continuous tense, and they have the same meaning - "live, work and
