Autoimmune disease and Autoimmune Paleo Protocol
Autoimmune disease is an epidemic caused mainly by modern diet and lifestyle. Your body’s immune system may wrongly attack the healthy cells and this effects our digestive systems.
Currently, scientists have identified at least eighty types of autoimmune diseases. That is the main reason diagnosis is a nightmare as all of them share similar symptoms. Some of the early symptoms are tiredness, muscle pains, and mild fever. The more serious sign is inflammation.
This can lead to the following:
1) Redness
2) Heat
3) Pain
4) Swelling
Autoimmune Paleo Protocol or AIP focuses on curing the gut health by removing harmful foods and, at the same time, boosting the gut with good hormones and blood sugar. Autoimmunity is not a once off cure and more like a lifestyle change in diets. Hence, there are certain foods to avoid and certain foods to take in more.
