    Introduction

Since the Fall of man, failure has been a part of human lives. However, most people have difficulty accepting failure because we see failure as defeat. The truth is that nobody plans to fail in life, but it is very common to see failure in every aspect of humanity.

Failure is the only thing in life that no one includes in his or her planned to-do list. We plan to get married; we plan to have children. We plan to start business, and we plan to do almost everything in life. Yet we often fail at such plans. Do we fail because of our carelessness or because of inadequate knowledge?

Does failure have a significant impact in our lives? Have you ever asked yourself where failure comes from? Are you tired of constantly failing? Do you know that your failure could be turned to success? Failure is the best teacher in life, and anyone who wants to taste success must pass through its hands.

Perhaps you have failed in your marriage, your job, or your business; and because of that, you have given up. Remember, failure becomes defeat only when you give up. Your failure in life does not make you the worst person in this world, but it makes you an experienced person in life. You will learn more about people who failed in life but, because they did not give up, ultimately became great people.

This story is about a young girl who started life well but went on to fail miserably. She threw away her two sons after giving birth to them, and she involved herself in many evil practices. She became hopeless because failure was following her everywhere she went. Her own parents and best friends left her when she was desperately in need.

But her failure turned to success because of some things that she eventually realized about herself. Her life changed completely. Meanwhile, those children she had thrown away became successful people. Failure is inevitable in life; but if we know how to handle it, we can easily turn it to success.

Perhaps your parents, ex-wife, ex-husband, boss, friends, and co-workers have told you that you cannot make it because of your situation. You should remember that your enemies are not God, so they cannot stop you from doing what you want to do.

Failure should be our teacher, not our undertaker. Failure is delay, not defeat. It is a temporary detour, not a dead end. Failure is something we can avoid only by saying nothing, doing nothing, and being nothing (Denis Waitle)

Chapter 1: The Reality of Failure

Mr. and Mrs. Ako were very rich and well known throughout the city of Abeka because of their success in business, but successful people also have their own challenges. Mr. And Mrs. Ako had almost everything in life except children. After waiting for seven years, God answered their prayers, and they had a baby girl. Because of how they struggled before she was born, they named her Godiva, which means "gift from God."

They believed that everything that comes from God is perfect, so they did the best they could to take good care of Godiva and train her to become a responsible person. Right from the beginning, they started teaching her about God; and when she was in junior high school, Godiva became a preacher. She constantly told her classmates and friends about God. She was a very intelligent and hard-working girl, and because of that, everybody loved her.

Mr. Ako told Godiva that everything their family had belonged to her, so she should take good care of whatever they owned. Godiva’s parents told her that she should take her studies and her spiritual life seriously because they believed that the best way to be successful in life is to be diligent in whatever you do. Godiva grew older and became very beautiful; and most of the men in that city dreamed of marrying her someday.

When Godiva finished her senior year of high school, her father wanted her to continue her education at the college in Abeka so that her parents would be able to keep an eye on her. But Mrs. Ako suggested that the universities in Abeka were not of high caliber and that it would be better for Godiva to study in an excellent university in the big city. Mrs. Ako added that this would be a great chance for Godiva to learn to live an independent life. Mr. Ako consented, as did Godiva, who relocated to a big city that lay 500 miles from Abeka.

In school, Godiva met many different sorts of people, and her first semester flew by as she excelled in all of her subjects. Her second semester also went well, but Godiva started going out with some of her friends at night. When most of the students left the school in
