About this ebook

Welcome back to New York City's glamorous Upper East Side, where the uptown girls get everything - and everyone - they want. Nabbing the latest Marc Jacobs bag or your best friend's boyfriend isn't always pretty, but it's always pretty cool.

It's almost graduation and the lives of New York's private high school elite are really heating up. Everyone's got into college and it's clearly time to party - not that they haven't been doing plenty of that already! Blair and Nate's relationship has moved on to a new level - but will the love affair continue? Or will Nate's love affair with his bong get in the way? Will Blair finally get into Yale? Or will Nate and Serena hook up in New Haven and leave Blair alone in the city?

And as for the juiciest gossip of all, what's this rumour about Jenny leaving Constance Billard to go to boarding school? Only time will tell how everyone will end up, but one thing's for sure: love is in the air, and it smells a lot like Gucci envy.

    Fun fast book!

I know, I know the Gossip Girl books are not the most intellectual but they happen to serve as my literary guilty pleasure and I was forced to spend 3 hours on an airplane this morning (I at least only read like 2 or 3 of these books in a calendar year). For those unfamiliar with Gossip Girl, these novels are about the lives of very, very spoiled and rich high school teenagers who go to private schools in New York city. As I read this book, I kept on feeling like I was watching several of the characters make poor decisions. That said, the plot actually moved along at a good clip making this a quick fun read that I didn't want to put down until I'd finished (I started this last night and finished it this afternoon). An overall enjoyable read.

Everyone graduates and has a party. To tell you the truth, I'm getting a little bored with all the partying, shopping, hooking up, breaking up, and getting back together. I mean, how many ways can you tell the same story?

The characters are very free with their bodies. There appears to be no consequence for their actions. Hopefully, the scenarios that are played out are far from reality. I would not recommend this to high school girls although this series seems to be very popular.

Maybe it's I have read too many of these too close together - or maybe because this is one of the ghost written books - but I didn't enjoy this one as much as the others. I felt it went by really slowly - it actually took me a couple weeks to read it when usually I fly through these in just a few sittings.. Still... i am sad that I am only one book away from the end.

Hideous teen fluff. I hope the series is retired soon...I'm tiring of it, but I've read so many, I can't help but want to know what happens.
