As bodies pile up in the wake of a stormstripped, tortured and grimly posedauthorities must admit the unthinkable. The serial killer dubbed the Stormchaser has returned following a tornado and taken it upon himself to bring the death toll up to where he believes it belongs.

FBI investigator Wade Luckett is back on the case, assisted by an agent Wade knows professionally and personally: his ex-wife, Jo. Sharon Sala

With over fifty books in print, award-winning author Sharon Sala, who also writes as Dinah McCall, still has to remind herself from time to time that this isn't a dream. She learned to read at the age of four and has had her nose in a book ever since. Her introduction into romance came at an early age through the stories of Zane Gray, Grace Livingston Hill and Emily Loring. Her pride in contributing to the genre is echoed by the letters of her fans. She's a four-time RITA finalist, Winner of the Janet Dailey Award, three-time Career Achievement winner from Romantic Times magazine, four-time winner of the National Reader's Choice Award and five-time winner of the Colorado Romance Writer's Award of Excellence, as well as numerous other industry awards. Her books are regularly on bestseller lists, such as the New York Times extended list, USA Today, Publishers Weekly, Waldenbooks mass market, and many others. She claims that, for her, learning to read was a matter of evolution, but learning to write and then being published was a revolution. It changed her life, her world and her fate.

Aaahhh! The Stormchaser is a slippery as they come. It's as if he literally rides the wind of the storm and lets it throw him where ever his serial killer mind thinks he should be. I can't put these books down!

4 STARsGoing Twice is the middle book of three. I did not read Going Once but I would like too now. It can stand alone but you will want to read the next book too. The story is good. Lots of drama, action, and even romance. A few sex scenes that I skipped over.Main plot is a serial killer is on the loose called Stromchaser. He follows natural disasters targeting survivors and killing them. He taunts the 3 FBI Agents. In Going Twice a fourth agent is assigned to the team. Is Jo Luckett. She is Wade Luckett's ex-wife. They are on the same team and have to work together. Their marriage ended after the death of their baby. It starts out tugging on your emotions right away.I like the four FBI Agents. The emotional drama is mainly between Jo and Wade this book. Jo has a lot of guilt to work out.Jo brings fresh eyes to the team and is a big help to them. She is tough and smart. This book makes you feel when you read it all kinds of emotions from sad, happy, compassion and wanting them to catch the Stromchaser.Their are a couple of story lines that you can guess what is going to happen next, but is still very good and suspenseful.I did not want to put the book down and can't wait till the next book comes out.I was given this ebook to read and asked in return to give honest review of it by Netgalley and Harlequin.publication: January 28th 2014 by Harlequin MIRA 400 pages ISBN: 9780778315926

“Going Twice” by Sharon SalaDeath and destruction are everywhere. Tornados and storms hit with a vengeance and many lose their lives. But there are those who survive only to be pulled from the wreckage and killed by a madman. Hershel, the Stormchaser, is out to make everyone pay for the death of his wife Louise. Help didn’t come quick enough when the horrible storms hit and they were stuck on the roof of their ravaged home. Louise died. Hershel blames the government and everyone who didn’t come to their aid. It’s not Hershel’s nor the FBI team’s first go-round. Tate, Wade, and Cameron butt heads with Hershel a year prior when he first began his lonely road of retribution. The FBI team wasn’t able to catch him then and now Hershel is back again, just as the storms are.Only this time FBI Agent Jo Luckett is added to the team. Jo is Wade’s ex-wife and it makes for some uncomfortable situations. They lost their unborn baby years ago and guilt, anger, hurt, and betrayal tore them apart. Do they still love each other and will it be enough to mend old wounds?Hershel is angry about Jo’s presence. It screws up his team. She wasn’t part of the hunt last year and now that she is, Hershel is thrown for a loop. He must get rid of her. Will Jo and Wade finally settle their long and hurtful animosity or will Hershel kill Jo before she and Wade can make amends? These are a few questions I had while zooming through this book. There are tense situations throughout, as well as astonishment as I read Hershel’s dialogue with his dead wife. He’s part crazy and part intelligent. The mixture of the two makes for one hell of a thriller. If Sala was going for a terrorizing, thrilling, hard to put down, intense novel, she hit the nail on the head. I cannot wait for the next installment in this series. Reviewed by Starr Gardinier Reina, author of “The Other Side: Melinda’s Story”
