About this ebook

Lana Whittaker had been clueless about her
husband's affair. Until his tragic death—
leaving his mistress clinging to life, their
unborn child's future hanging in the balance.
And the most shocking: Lana was left penniless,
homeless and the guardian of the baby.

So when a stranger, a darkly handsome
millionaire businessman, offered help, she had
to accept.

Raffaele Rossellini blamed Lana, that ice-cold
blonde, for the loss of his beloved sister. But
he'd see to it that she lost, too—everything
she held dear. Including the man she'd come
to love—himself.

Author

Yvonne Lindsay

A typical Piscean, award winning USA Today! bestselling author, Yvonne Lindsay, has always preferred the stories in her head to the real world. Which makes sense since she was born in Middle Earth. Married to her blind date sweetheart and with two adult children, she spends her days crafting the stories of her heart and in her spare time she can be found with her nose firmly in someone else’s book.

I enjoy angst in my stories. I can understand a “hero” treating the heroine badly as long as the payoff at the end is worth it and he grovels to make up for it.

This angst to grovel ratio in this story was insufficient. So he buys her diamonds and writes her a cliche note and that’s it?! This guy needed to get on his knees and beg her forgiveness for the way he treated her.
