About this ebook

Greek tycoon Sebastian Kouros thinks he knows all about Rachel Long: she's a scheming money-grabber who deserves nothing from him or his family. Rachel has come to Sebastian's island to claim her inheritance -- but although the bitterness between them is ripe, neither is expecting their searing sexual chemistry. Sebastian takes Rachel to his bed, but it appears she's not the virgin she claims to be. Perhaps now is the time to take her as his mistress, and discard her when he sees fit…

Only Rachel is telling the truth -- she's an innocent and a virgin…

What a beautiful story. If you suffer from heart problems don't read it and prepare some paper tissues. But the end is even better. Wow

This was pretty bad. It didn’t hold my attention in the way this author usually does, and I disliked the “hero”- mostly because in virtually every interaction he just showed how dumb he was. I mean that in the sense that he was devastatingly unintelligent. He also seesaws all over the place in a way that actually makes him sound deranged. I would give examples, but there are so many it would be a waste of time.

I was also supremely annoyed at the way this douche canoe doesn’t believe in personal responsibility. Case in point, he blames Rachel for not controlling her mother and making her mother be a better person. WUT? Err, moron, let the 23 year old escape her toxic family. Don’t expect her to fix the unfixable. Other case in point, to the very end of the book, he considers his Uncle a helpless victim of the mother because he was addicted to her sexually. Again. WUT? Yes, he could have been tricked into marrying her. But once he KNEW her, staying with her was his own choice. And speaking of laudable uncle Matthias. What. An. Ass. Why does no one ever point out that Rachel was a victim and still a child when she came to live in his home and that if he saw the evil her mother did, he had a responsibility to be there for her. Yes, he paid for her college out of the country. But that was it. He was not really a protective or good stepfather. The fact that he refuses to leave her anything in the Will shows his lack of caring. This dude was written as being enthralled by sex and a partying lifestyle with a younger woman, dies because he was DRIVING DRUNK which makes him unforgivable, and yet everyone simply treats him as a victim instead of complicit in his own downfall. No one in this book takes or accepts personal responsibility. They all needed to get hold of a copy of “Codependent No More” and spend some serious time studying.

So combining the fact that the entire cast of characters put together had the emotional health and maturity of a teaspoon plus how thoroughly stupid and demented the male lead is, it was just hard to get through.

This author has much better books out there. I don’t recommend bothering with this one.

I needed to read 'Category Romance' type of book for a challenge. These books are hit-and-miss thing and there are literally millions of them, so choosing was tough. In the end, I picked one that somehow creeped into my recommendations for Contemporary.

Well, it was ok. The usual representative for this genre.
