About this ebook

Cop's wife, mother-to-be, respected ICU nurseWillow Traynor had a rich life. Then her husband was shot, and she was hit by a speeding car. Doubting it was an accident, she quit her job and fled.

In the Ozarks, Willow hoped to find peace. But arson destroyed everything she had and almost killed her brother. Now she was certain: someone was targeting her. The support of new friends, especially Dr. Graham Vaughn and his sister, rekindled her hope for a fresh start. But meanwhile her stalker was getting closer, bolder and more determined.

Light-weight mystery. I picked it up because the main character's name is Willow. Other than that it doesn't fit my usual interests. The premise seems far-fetched (Willow thinks someone is trying to kill her after her cop-husband's death) but at least Willow is basically independent and capable. Much is made of her loss of faith in Jesus, with an ending which shows her faith restored.

Another suspenseful mystery in this "Hideaway" series. Someone is out to harm Willow Traynor. She has lost her husband, her unborn child and her job and has moved to be near her brother in the Branson, MO area. But trouble will follow her there. Someone is out to do her harm; buy why and who? She will find support with her new friends, Dr. Graham Vaughn and his sister, but Willow has a hard time trusting people and learning to lean on them for help. She is a very independent lady and will frustrate Dr. Graham quite a bit in this story. This story kept me guessing as to who was stalking Willow and why. The author does a great job of making the story captivating from beginning to end.
