About this ebook

TV chef Carrie Robbins (aka The Negligee Gourmet) thinks her archrival Philip Mallory is the ultimate food snob, but the network wants them to tape a cooking series together. The stuffy Brit just doesn't get Carrie's take on cuisine: serving up a mouthwatering dish while dressed like one. Well, if he can't take the heat, he can get out of the kitchen!

Only, after she and Philip share a stimulating session of beating and whipping—eggs, that is!—Carrie realizes two things. First, that even though the so-called king of cooking is as difficult as a chocolate soufflé, he's even more delicious. And second, that one taste isn't going to be nearly enough….

Mini-series are the new It-thing, aren't they? It's hard to get a stand-alone category that I care for lately. Which is a bit of a gamble. I didn't like the sound of the White Star mini series (plus, I hadn't started looking at Blaze until the first two had already been and gone), which took out an automatic not-buy each month. I rad one of the "Getting It..." series last month and liked it okay, despite the references to the Books Gone By. This one has a chef as the heroine. Chefs are auto-buys for me. What can I say? I wish I was a chef... ^_- Well, in theory. This book was fun, flirtatious and sizzling. I didn't care overly much about the hero, but I adore the cover. I know, weird comparison. But you combine sex with a well-stocked kitchen, and I'll want to know more. I'm easy.
