Link Morgan is just trying to finish remodeling the house he inherited when he finds a suitcase buried in a wall. Marisa Angelo is in Baltimore, when she is notified that a suitcase belonging to her missing mother has been found. So these two lives come together in a search for a woman, long thought to be a runaway. Maybe she did not leave on her own after all. This book got off to a bit of a slow start. Having read the first book, I am familiar with many of the characters so that was a bit surprising. However, it picks up and overall I enjoyed this book. The mystery is pretty good and there is the continuing mystery of the "society" that I hope will be resolved in the third book. The Amish characters are more in the background in this book. I would have liked to see more about the Amish culture. But it is a nice quick read with enough mystery to keep me engaged.
