About this ebook

When Deep Down Salvage begins the hunt for the Josephine Marie, it seems like any other dive until Genevieve Wallace sees the vision of a dead woman in the water, her vacant eyes boring into Genevieve's very soul.

Terrified and confused by what she saw, Genevieve is haunted by the memory, but no oneincluding her diving partner Thor Thompsonbelieves her. When a dead woman washes up on shore, everyone assumes this is Genevieve's "vision," but Genevieve knows the truth: the dead woman is not the ghost she saw but another victim of the same brutal killer.

Sensing that the threat of death is coming closer, she and Thor are forced to acknowledge that some things can't be explained, but simply are. Somehow they have to link a violent past with a present-day mystery or risk losing themselves in an abyss of terror.

Genevieve Wallace is a profesional diver in the Florida Keys and while on a dive sees a woman obviously dead but seeming to speak to her saying "Beware." Nothing like that has ever happend to Gen before and she is totally spooked. Since she is normally very level-headed and professional the other divers and cops called in search for the body but none is found.

Thor Thompson, the leader of the operation to find the mid-19th century ship Marie Josephine, is a very practical and logical guy and is not only skeptical of Gen's report of a body but also concerned that she is a diver who will panic plus affect the rest of the crew. Despite himself he finds that he is attracted to her -- on a purely physical plane, of course!!

A body of a woman in white with blond hair is washed up on the beach. Gen begins having "dreams" of her ghost and pirates and waking up soaked with seawater and as she and Thor start to get involved, she with her friend Audrey's help brings in Adam Harrison and the Blackhawks, Nikki and Brent, from a previous novel of Heather Graham's "Ghost Walk." Soon the hunt is on but is it for treasure? To put a ghost to rest? Or find a serial killer?

I enjoy the paranormal mysteries with Harrison investigations the story is fast moving and you don't know what is going to happen next and the endings are always a surprise.

Genevieve Wallace is working as a scuba diver on a salvaging/treasure-hunting expedition outside of the Florida Keys when she spots what she thinks is the body of a woman; however, this woman is trying to speak to her and is warning her to "beware". This begins a strange and otherworldly story of romance, betrayal, pirate lore, mystery and murder.

Excellent book, I really enjoyed it. It brought back memories of when I learned to dive - - fun! I'm glad I never ran into any bodies, though!

I loved this book so much I devowered it in just a couple of days. When I had to put it down to go to work I couldn't quit thinking about it! It is very suspenseful and kept me going until the end. Mostly I loved the historical aspect of it. Their pursuit of the old british ship that sunk so long ago and unwraveling the story of what happened on that ship was very exciting to me. The only thing I didn't like about this book was the main male character's name (THOR). I hate corny names, especially when he is constanly described as looking like a god with brozed skin! She does write romance as well though so I'm sure it was just too temping....

Thought it was a mystery but ghosts are part of the story, somewhat juvenile.
