About this ebook

Molly always dreamed of having a sister who is just like her. But she got Chloe, instead. These two sisters are nothing alike: Molly loves to color with crayons. Chloe prefers the taste of wax. Molly loves to read. Chloe prefers to nibble a book's spine. Molly is frustrated! But then she realizes that maybe sisters aren't the ones next to you on the piano bench, they're the ones dancing to the music you play! This humorous, perceptive snapshot of sibling love is perfect for those who may need a bit of convincing what fun little siblings can be!

This book is about a little girl who wanted a little sister just like her and was disappointed when she got a little sister like Chloe instead. The main message of this story is about family and individuality. One thing I really liked about this book was the book flaps. They gave a brief background and description of the story with limited words and pictures. A second thing that I really liked about this story was the ending. The little girl talks throughout the book about how disappointed she is that she got Chloe instead of a little sister like herself, but at the end she realizes how great Chloe is. She says “I’m glad I didn’t get a little sister who was just like me, because I got Chloe instead.”

An extremely bright picture book about the pitfalls of getting a new sister. Chloe is a lot of fun and it just takes her older sister a little while to realize that while things may not be perfect, they are still pretty great. I loved the colors and style of this books illustrations. Very short sentences (although a couple of weird breaks) make this book for younger readers and possibly story time appropriate.

This book is about a girl, Molly, who wanted a sister who was just like her but she got a little sister who is nothing like her. She describes all the qualities and interests that make them different like Molly loves to read books and Chloe just like to nibble on the spine. By the end of the story she says how all those differences make them closer. I really liked this book. This story took a turn that I had not expected. I did not expect that the girl would like how all the differences made them closer.

This story was very original. Molly hoped to get a little sister just like her but instead she got Chloe. Chloe and Molly are nothing alike. Molly likes to color, while Chloe just eats the crayons. In the end Molly is glad she got a sister just like Chloe.

Chloe isn't the same, and big sister learns this is a good thing. Nice story.

    Very simple.
It'll be good to use as an introduction to little ones on the concept of siblings.

I wish my sister was like that instead she cited my hair and with a key she made me bleed

This was a good book. I really liked the end pages of this book because it showed the activities Molly and her sister Chloe did together. I also liked it because it is a good book to read for siblings who are about to have a new baby sister. The big idea of this story is that sisters can be different, but that doesn’t mean the sisters can’t love each other.
