    What exactly is the mysterious third eye?

    Our understanding begins with the chakra system: the spinning pools of energy that govern the human body’s functioning. Each pool from the Root to the Crown presides over an area of our physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing. Only once all the chakras are unblocked and free from constriction, can people experience the joy and happiness of an extraordinary life.

    The Third Eye chakra according to Hindu scripts is the sixth primary chakra, located at the midpoint of the forehead between the eyebrows, where the pituitary gland is. This chakra is also called the Ajna chakra meaning the summoning or command. This chakra energizes our perception and allows us to receive experiences beyond the physical – that is, it is the ultimate gateway to accessing psychic energy.
