    The IELTS test is hard and stressful, especially if this is your first time taking it. This short, easy to read study guide can help first time test takers know what to expect on test day. This book will give you the tips, strategies, and information to prepare you for the IELTS test.
    This book covers the Academic version and General Training version of the IELTS test. Don't know which version you should take or what the differences between the versions are? That's in here too.
    This book contains outlines of what to expect from the IELTS test as a whole and the individual listening, reading, writing, and speaking modules. The breakdowns of the individual modules are useful, but the most useful parts of this book are the tips and strategies.
    For each module (listening, reading, writing, and speaking) we have a lot of short, easy to follow tips and strategies. We have 36 for the listening module, 25 for the reading module, 48 for writing module, and 44 for the speaking module. There are over 150 tips total in this book.
    With all the tips and strategies, I'm sure that at least some of them will help boost your band score. And if just one of the tips helps you get a better score, isn't that worth the price of the book?
    The tips and strategies are the most important part of this book, but I know that a lot of IELTS test takers have a lot of trouble with the speaking portion. So, as a bonus, I've also included speaking test practice questions and examiner practice scripts so that you can practice in a realistic way with a partner.
    The format of this book is focused on giving you lots of information quickly in an easy to understand format. No fluff, just tips and information about the tests so you can be ready when test day comes.
