Mila Ivantsova was born in 1960, now lives in Kyiv. She majored in college in Russian language and literature and French language. Since then she worked as a school teacher, the Lyceum of Tourism and Institute of Tourism. She is an experienced translator, having worked for a non-profit organization Pompiers d'Alsace, translated Dolphin Wigan’s Les Heures Souterraines and poetry), her experience in journalism includes work for the magazine With You in Kyiv, the magazine Mandry in Kyiv, the newspaper The High Castle in Lviv and various online publications. The story of Mila Ivantsova published in the journal of Ukraine, Estonia, Germany, Russia, New Zealand and Israel. Published two collections of short stories in Russian: It’s a strange life (2002) and Triangle Happiness (2006). Her novels Genitive Case ("Nora-Druk) and Stained Glass (Nora-Druk) and Keys to the Elevator (CDS) won the Publishers Choice Award of by the All-Ukrainian contest of novels, screenplays and plays "The Coronation of the Word" (2009, 2010 and 2011), nominated for the BBC's 2009 and 2010 Best Book of the Year Award, and won the prize of the magazine Correspondent in 2009. Her novel Parallel Reading won third prize in the "Coronation of the Word 2012". Має досвід перекладацької роботи (гуманітарна органцзація «Pompiers d’Alsace», переклад роману Дельфін де Віган «Les heures souterraines», поетичні переклади), журналістський досвід (журнал «С тобой», Київ, журнал "Мандри" Київ, газета «Високий Замок» Львів, різні інтернет-видання). Оповідання Міли Іванцової друкувалися в журналах України, Естонії, Німеччини, Росії, Нової Зеландії, Ізраілю. Видано дві збірки оповідань російською мовою: "Странная штука – жизнь" (2002р) та "Процент треугольного счастья" (2006р). Романи «Родовий відмінок» ("Нора-Друк"), «Вітражі» ("Нора-Друк") та «Ключі від ліфта» ("КСД") отримали відзнаку "Вибір видавців" на Всеукраїнському конкурсі романів, кіносценаріїв та п'єс "Коронація слова" (2009, 2010 та 2011 рр), а також їх було відзначено у рейтингах «Книга року БіБіСі» 2009 та 2010 років та «Краща книга року» журналу «Кореспондент» в 2009р. Роман "Гра в паралельне читання" посів третє місце в "Коронації слова 2012" В листопаді 2012 року нагороджена відзнакою "Золотий письменник України".
