About this ebook
There once lived a graphic artist. That is to say he thought he was alive up to the point when he truly started to live. This story is the first part of a saga delving into the realities going on around us while we sleep. If you thought going to sleep is meant for resting, you are correct. However, there is a minority of psychics whom never can rest their minds, especially not while sleeping. Take some time to enjoy my story, you may be surprised that you did. Oh, and of course, pleasant dreams to all of you non-believers out there.

Yo, it's me Scaarl. I'm a comic book nerd of sorts but i have a lot of my own ideas for genuine story telling. It will just take me a while to get everything typed up and ready for reading. I hope people will enjoy some of the things that go on inside of my noggin. Thanks to anyone willing to read my imagination put on screen or paper. A salute to non-believers everywhere!

Carl Egly gives this book a thumbs up and a thumbs down!
Did you ever wonder if the myth about dragons had any hint of truth? Why would there be no remains of their existence? Are zombies real? Or, are they merely undead sleeping ninjas forming an army with no will of its own? To find the answers to these questions and maybe less; read this book and the two that follow. You may regret that you did. By the way, this story is based on true events that actually happened inside of my imagination. If you would by chance lose your copy of this book; just purchase a handy state of the art ‘Item Finder’. They are a breakthrough in engineering.
(Which by ‘breakthrough’, I mean you will have threw it after breaking it in disgust.)
Enjoy.

About the Author
How about a little information on how I came about to write this story? I am a comic book fan by nature. I have always wanted to work in the industry. I’ve dabbled in making my own comics since the age of sixteen which was thirteen years ago. I even had a company name, which was Unauthorized Comics. Now that carpel tunnel has affected my stamina to draw, I have decided to make my stories with mostly words. This particular story actually started as an idea for the last comic book I was going to work on. I have included some not to par sketches as a visual guide to the characters. Enjoy, Non-believers!
This book is dedicated to my friend and brother whom will never get the chance to read the content within.

Time. In essence, it is a construct formulated by the human mind to reference the accord of events in an order which can be compiled in the brain to a dignified manner. How can one travel through it? By living in one second at each instant. For, in actuality, time is merely the measurement of the Earth’s rotation of its axis and revolutionary orbit around the sun. If one were to go ahead of the orbit, surely they would be in the future. Although, they would have to wait the amount of time that they skipped, no more than a year for the Earth to catch up. Now, if you wanted to retrace steps back through time and travelled distance opposite of the Earth’s directional orbit, this too would fail. Just subtract the distance that you traveled from the annual orbit distance, and that is how long you would have to wait for the Earth to catch up. In both instances you will age the same, but miss what is happening on your home planet during the time you have waited. This all being said: There is a time for every place and a place for every time. What if time was out of place? Start to unravel the tangled cobwebs that you call thoughts. You are about to enter the world of …
Gen Shun Z!
Chapter One: a New Chapter
This story starts like most, before the end. Now, the beginning shall commence. I was tired, okay? I’ll admit that. But, I’m not crazy, alright?
He says this while looking around the room to try and figure out where he was exactly. Judging by the E.K.G. meter and I.V. hook, he was definitely in a hospital room. The hospital bed that he was strapped to was another give away. You know, the usual stuff. No it’s not alright Kenny, you’re sick. I just want what is best for you. You do know that you are sick, right?
his older brother sounded very concerned. I’m not sick Sam. I know what happened.
All right, so tell me then.
We were driving to dad’s place…
Who are we?
You, me and your so called girlfriend.
Her name is Beth.
Whatever, so we’re in the car when…
When? When what?
…When I got tired, except that I was more awake than I have ever been. As my eyes slowly were drooping shut, I could see so much clearer. Everything was bright like it had a glow to it. The energy and awareness that I found were uncanny.
Kenny’s brother was growing impatient, Just get to the cuts. How did you get cut?
Ninjas,
was Kenny’s reply. Oh yeah, I almost forgot about the convenient ninjas that only you can see. Am I correct that only you were aware of these ninjas?
No, they were quite aware as well, and so was…
And just why were there ninjas?
Sam inadvertently interrupted trying to make sense of all of this and give his brother a little benefit of the doubt. I am not entirely sure as to why they were there. What was apparent however is that they were after this little girl. I could see that she was in danger. I decided to help,
started Kenny. Is that when you hurdled yourself out of a moving car going seventy miles per hour down the freeway?
asked Sam. Yes.
Sam wasn’t buying this however, There was no little girl. I was there, remember?
You were there,
agreed Kenny, Just not as much as I was.
Go on,
prodded Sam. So Kenny went on, The ninjas circled around me. There were seven of them. They each dressed in grey. All of them, that is aside for one. He was dressed in black. The ninja dressed in black carried two lightweight blades where as the others each only had one blade. Just as the ninjas dressed in grey started to fling their ninjitsu stars at me, I found myself holding a katana in each hand. The odd thing was the glowing symbols on each blade. They all burned with a bright jaded color.
"That’s the only thing that you can find odd about all of this? questioned Sam.
Never mind, just go on.
Okay. Where was I? Oh yeah! Somehow I had a feel for the katanas. I could wield them in any desired motion that I saw fit. After I deflected the stars, the ninjas ran towards me with their blades drawn. What worried me was that I no longer had a visual on the ninja dressed in black. Something was different about
