About this ebook

Born Again? When we look at God, we think of a Divine Being of all power and wonder. This would mean that the supernatural, miraculous, and divine should be common attributes with His nature. If it is His nature and we are born from Him, then it is all possible to experience these characteristics as well. Sadly, few do experience them. Worse, many think it is inconceivable to even think such thoughts that these would be a part of their lives. Once one understands why they must be born again and how to live this new Life, it is more than possible to experience the supernatural, miraculous, and divine as an every-day occurrence. As spirit beings, we can soar above all contrary circumstances. This easy-to-read book will begin to show you how. Experience the transformation as you leave the world's ways, opinions, and beliefs aside and step into your divine nature, just as God intended from the beginning of all time. Learn how to change your every-day experiences into a new way of divine living, with God leading, guiding, and directing you into His perfect plan. Learn to know God's will 100% of the time. No more confusion and debates become a thing of the past.

Truth be told, I like to write and help people. As a Christian and after teaching the bible for over twenty years, I decided that the main obstacle to overcome in class was the constant confusion by the students. Most had an opinion or belief that had little if anything to do with the Bible. So, I decided to take them back to the beginning. I have always maintained that truth of the Word of God manifests. If one doesn't see results, than it is time to figure out where the errs are in their understanding. From this perspective, I began writing in-depth bible study books for anyone who wants to know the Truth. My writings continued as I added children's books, a novel, fiction, and self-help books for teens and young adults. I believe everyone who likes to read can enjoy one of my many books.

    INTRODUCTION

Confusion. If there is one word that summarizes what is happening in the Body of Christ today it would be confusion. Since we know God is not the author of confusion, we must conclude that the confusion stems from bad information and traditions that have proven over time that they do not produce spiritual results, yet they continue to be taught and practiced. Confusion also stems from an unwillingness to bend toward one mindset: truth and nothing but the truth from God and His Word. If everyone would take this last mindset, confusion would be a thing of the past and all would be seeing and experiencing the supernatural, miraculous, and the divine.

Most people who became born again came from a religious background, whether it is Catholic, Jewish, Muslim, Baptist, etc. All religions are based upon opinions and beliefs and few are completely based upon the Truth of God’s Word. With that in mind, this book is going to take you from religion to relationship. Becoming born again is all about a relationship with God the Father, the Lord Jesus Christ, and the precious Holy Spirit.

Since many people, who became born again, came from a religious background, some will continue to do what they have always done, which includes going to church on Sunday. This is all good and fine, but it will not help them grow from babyhood to maturity, especially when it comes to living out God’s Kingdom. Your development into the Life of Christ will be a slow process. (I have always felt that this was an area that the church, the Body of Christ, lacks; a way of developing a child of God in a quicker and timelier manner.) When it comes to knowing God, the Word, and who and what you are in Christ, there is a lot of knowledge, understanding, and information to ascertain. This cannot be done in a speedy and timely manner just spending approximately fifty-two hours a year in church. There are more than 8,000 hours in a year (you can see that fifty-two hours is barely enough time to learn). Most Sunday services last an hour. Multiply this by fifty-two weeks a year, and you have very little time in which all your questions can be answered. In those fifty-two hours, the pastor may never answer a question that you may have on your mind concerning God or the Word. Add to this year the time you set aside to read devotions or the Bible, which still comes to (give or take) three to five hours a week. Still, this is not enough time, especially when you don’t know how to study the Bible, or where to go in the Bible to get your questions answered. Also, you may not know or understand what it is you are reading, or what God is conveying to you through His Word.

Proverbs 22:6: Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

If the Church would take this scripture and apply it to God’s newborns, then we would see a more effective, stronger, and powerful Body of Christ. The supernatural, miraculous, and the divine would be more prevalent. The newborns need to be taught the truth of the Word, a clearer understanding of who they are and what they CAN do in Christ. I have proven this in an exhaustive, three-course lesson, during my classes. I proved a person can begin to operate in the things of God and have results. The only obstacle I have ever come up against were the leaders of the church. Because many of them have never learned to operate in the power of God, they believe it isn’t possible until one has dedicated years, acquired scholastic degrees, and many hours of prayer and study. God doesn’t have time; the world is in deep pain and distress now. It NEEDS the Sons of God to rise and to take their place now. All it takes is an understanding of the beginning and the truth and nothing but the truth to give one a firm foundation to stand on. Religious ideas and opinions become foolishness. With understanding and truth, the confusion ends and God has a useful member who can carry out His plan of redemption and restoration.

In this study you will come upon many roadblocks or mental challenges that may seem to go against the grain of several things you believe or think to be true. You will also have to come to terms that the Bible is all about truth, God’s truth. It has nothing to do with mankind’s beliefs, opinions, or ideas on what they thought God meant, willed, or planned for mankind. One truth exists and that is His truth. This book is a tool to get you to the truth. As you progress through the book, I will point out the various roadblocks and explain the truths behind them.

As a good example, everything in the Bible is written to our advantage and it contains examples for us to follow or not to follow. Yet, it isn’t all God’s truth. There are facts written down for our benefit, or understanding. As an example, Job made a comment that God gives and takes away. Well, that would make God unstable, if He wasn’t sure whether to take or give (Job 2:10). God says a double-minded man is unstable (James 1:8) in all his ways. God does not have one standard for you and another for Himself. True (fact), Job made that comment. But it is not a truth from God that He wants you to believe about Him and how He does things. God is a giver, not a taker. So, in order to find what the truth is, one would have to SEEK the truth by finding the consistency of a word or verse(s) throughout the Bible.

I believe the best way to know your Bible is to get into it yourself, to see and read the verses for yourself. That is why I will put in parentheses the verse that will relate to a given statement. But I will not write out the verses for you to see at a glance. You want to get this relationship with God started. So, this is the best way to begin—open your Bible.

    ONE

    God’s Word – the Bible

To help you on this journey and in your studies, we need to briefly discuss the Bible. Again, you will find much controversy over this subject. We see numerous Bibles with different wording. Let me explain what the truth is on this subject. The original scriptures spoken by God, which inspired men to write them, are in Hebrew and Greek. Granted, most of us do not know either language. Those that do know either language have an advantage over the rest of us. God’s thoughts and words are in these original languages. In order for those of us who do not know these languages to learn what He spoke, other Bibles were written. However, not all of the Bibles are giving us God’s EXACT, original spoken words. To find out what God originally spoke, we must study it. The best tool to use for your study is a Concordance that contains the Hebrew and Greek languages. It is also wise to get the original Noah Webster Dictionary. [Commentaries are not always the best tool, because many of them are based on opinions. They sound good and feasible, but not all of them relay the truth. Until you are grounded in the truth, it is best to stay away from them. Until you are established with the truth, I would also recommend staying away from devotionals, for the same reason: many are opinions.]

Now, this may seem like a daunting task to take this thick book, the Bible, and begin to decipher what the original thoughts of God were on specific subjects. Well, God thought of everything. This is why we have the Holy Spirit, who guides us into all the truth (John 16:13).

Let’s take a moment and get another controversial subject out of the way.
