WHO SAYS MOVING ON IS EASY?
MOVING ON -- AND FAST
After a bit of a rocky start, and with the stalking issue a distraction, too, Brock and Portia manage to find their way and are soon looking on to a promise of an exciting romantic affair.
But after the hate mail comes another package from the stalker that reminds Portia of more than the painful loss of her late fiancé. Whoever the stalker is has been closer to her than she first believes.
Brock readily comes to her rescue. His work with the FBI is an added bonus, too. He manages to guard her while he tries to find the identity of her stalker through the help of his team.
But as much as she enjoys her time with him and appreciates his timely return to her life, Portia wonders if she is ready to fall in love again. If not for the threat of the stalker, she’s beginning to feel happiness again.
Is she and Brock ready for something deeper than their enjoyment of sex and each other’s company?

EXCERPT
“THIS LOOKS amazing,” said Brock when she placed the plate on the table. She’d brought out strawberry and blackberry jams, yoghurt, and a jar frozen blueberries that she’d microwaved and sprinkled with just a touch of sugar.
“Hopefully this will make up for your night on the couch,” she said, licking a bit of sugar from her lips.
“That couch is surprisingly comfortable,” he said. “Plus I’ve got some really great memories built up there already.”
Portia blushed at the remark, remembering their fumbling escapades from the previous weekend. She could tell that he’d become concerned that he’d said something to make her uncomfortable, so she smiled at him and said, “I guess we should move on to someplace else next time, huh?”
Brock stuffed a large piece of rolled up crepe with blueberries and yoghurt into his mouth and grinned at her.
“So there’s going to be a next time?” he asked when he’d finished chewing.
It might have been a response to the emotional highs and lows of the last twenty four hours, or it might have been the way he looked sitting there with his disheveled hair and un-tucked shirt, but Portia felt desire for him suddenly overwhelm her.
She pushed her chair back and went to him, lifting a leg over his to straddle him. She pulled her shirt over her head, revealing her completely naked body to him, and she leaned forward...

The moment Sandra Ross held her first romance novel when she was ten, she knew she was going to write romance. At thirty now, a prolific reader and a freelance writer, she's since then expanded her preferences from just romance to romance with a dash of now trending sub-genres—paranormal , fantasy, sci-fi even, and erotica. She loves challenging herself and would write on a dare. On a normal day, she would be found in her herb garden collecting spices for her kitchen or ingredients for her potions; in her huge eclectic Provencal kitchen with the big modern oven cooking pots and pans of food for her family of one husband and three kids (an ardent daughter and two boisterous sons) that'll probably last for weeks; in her library with floor-to-ceiling bookshelves and an e-reader in her hands as she reads the latest erotic hit; or scribbling pages upon pages of different erotic lifestyles, searching for the one that feels like it was inspired by just the right mix of passion, story line, and sex. Aside from these activities, the rest of the time she'd be found in front of her laptop typing the latest Sandra Ross concoction for her readers.

Chapter One
PORTIA SAID GOODBYE to Brock and left for home. She didn't feel like being alone quite yet, so she stopped at her local book store and spent some time browsing the shelves.
She picked up a new thriller by one of her favorite authors and decided against it after reading the back cover blurb about how a feisty young female detective was investigating a serial killer targeting women at a beach-side resort town. It was a little too close to her own drama and fears, and she opted instead for a light romance with a hunky firefighter on it. It certainly wasn't literary genius, but all she was looking for was a little escape from the excitement of the last eighteen hours.
Back at home, she made herself a cup of tea and felt her appetite return somewhat. She put together a plate of cheese, apple slices, olives, and crackers to take to the couch with her. Lying back and pulling the blanket over her legs, she snacked away and opened her book, happy to be
