Give Me A Sign - Mochira Jackson

Introduction

Almost all of us, at one time or another, must have asked the Universe for a sign - I know I have. It usually happens when we are faced with a difficult decision, and we are worried we are going to make the wrong choice. We pray for a sign to let us know we are on the right track, yet often we don’t receive any clear sign at all, and we just muddle on, hoping we’ll be all right no matter what we choose.

The chances are, though, that the Universe did try to send us a sign, yet we didn’t pay attention to it, or we recognised the sign but didn’t know how to interpret it. This can happen when we keep seeing the same thing everywhere we go; for example, a few weeks ago I kept seeing spiders: people would have conversations with me about spiders and I’d see them in magazine articles and posters. I felt compelled to look up the meaning for the spider symbol. I also thought about how spiders made me feel and I realised that it meant I had to make time in my life to be creative – the spider is very creative when it makes its web, and so I realised I needed to start writing again. I also took it to mean I had to work on my fears. I used to be scared of spiders and I am learning to face this particular fear, and other things in my life that I see as a source of anxiety.

This book is going to teach you how you too can read the signs that the Universe sends you; hopefully, this will give you valuable insight into how you live your life; further develop your intuitive skills and give you an improved sense of confidence.

How do we ask for signs?

All we need to do is mentally ask the Universe to send us a sign related to whatever situation we need to have clarified. For example, if you have recently been offered two jobs and you can’t decide between them, ask the Universe to give you a sign to help you choose which one is for your highest good. You should expect to receive a sign, or several signs, within a couple of days. Sometimes, we will feel disappointed when things don’t go our way, or if signs seem to be pointing us in a
