Mel commented that Navy pilots have all that sea water around them and tiny bladders seem to plague them. Lori chuckled and says right this way Major the bathroom is down the hall to the left. Everyone turned for the moment to follow Lori and the major forgetting about the co-pilot still in his plane. While the Major was in the bathroom, Lori returned to the kitchen and prepared a larger meal for their guests, Larry continued the briefing; I want you to steal that plane from its hangar in Butte Arizona. Well if I'm going to steal it I can't think of a better time than right now he said jokingly. At that moment the co-pilot had walked into the house and spoke for the first time: I would have to shoot you for trying sir! Mel had not turned to see who had spoken but inside he felt like the very breath in his body had been knocked out of him. He knew the person who who belong to that voice, but it couldn't be she was dead. She'd been killed by an assassin at least that was the story he'd been told. With his heart in his throat and tears streaming down his face he turned to see none other than Carol dressed in a blue flight suite, The emblems of the British Air force on her shoulders, her long blond hair up in a bun. Carol’s eyes too were filled with tears as she ran into his arms both he and her forgetting where they were, he hugged her and she hugged him back, I'm sorry; I'm British secret service and I was under strict orders from my superiors I couldn't tell you who I was or my mission orders, meeting and falling for you wasn't part of the plan Mel. At the time when we met and traveled to Alexandria together my superiors had been contacted by your president to investigate the vice president, at the time we knew there were terrorist cells working in America and the UK and the Blacks whom your vice president was close friends with were suspected to be among them.

    Lgoo Books is well known by family and friends for his love of aircraft and knowledge of things mechanical but many even family had no idea that he's been a published Author for over 9 years and has written over 18 works of fiction and other works. When did he become interested in writing? As a boy really, he walked as much as two miles to get to libraries to read books checking out as many as six at a time or the limit. Compassion was learned at an early age and practiced throughout life. At fourteen a first flight lesson; the cost just $5. His passion since early in life was someday becoming a pilot in the military or civilian it hadn't mattered he just had a desire to experience flight. It was not until he was in his early fifties that time and money that endeavor became a reality. One day he was sitting at the computer writing and recovering from an injury and pondering early retirement from skilled trades but what to do until age 65? A little research online lead to the local college, signing up for ground school, not long after he was in a cockpit of a Cessna Sky-hawk a 4 seater. These days writing keeps him up at night, he's enjoyed some success tinkering with and repairing computers for pleasure, keeping my website up and running. Hobby beekeeping and delving into various schemes with his new wife. A couple of years ago he even took on a part time job as an Instructor of residential hvac at a local adult education facility. The first few books were devoted to giving back to help homeowners and others with fixing their own furnaces or air conditioning.A main character in that first book of fiction soon stretched into four books. The first book Lasting Effects of an Indiscretion is partly a true story. Each book were written to complement the previous book with new characters as well as some of the same ones as in previous books. Some stories are fantasy, two are short children stories the latest called Ghosts of Red Cavern is science fiction and may appeal to ten to twenty year olds. Four are devoted to skilled trades self help books for people who enjoy working with their hands and have some skills in the trades. Lgoo has always had a sense about right and wrong and so one true story had to be written. (Charisma) That story took place before the birth of his writing career many years almost thirty years ago.       Gambit at Sea

      Mel and Lori are standing on the stage of a small church Lori is wearing a white gown, her room mates Bri and Sam are standing nearby. The minister beaming with pride is her father. Mel dressed in white a dress uniform of the Marines. In the wedding party Larry Ellis several of Mel’s old Secret Service comrades, the President, vice President and a Secret Service detail outside the church. Mel do you take this woman to have and to hold and do you promise and the wedding vows are exchanged and afterwards a celebration held in the Simpson’s home next door. For their honeymoon the bride and groom are flying to their honeymoon in Hawaii in the lavish plane curtsey of the USA. The three Air Force One’s were heading to the big island anyway for some needed updates, giving Mel, his bride and wedding party was just another way to say thank you, the country again owed this marine a debt of gratitude. After their honeymoon Mel returns to Colorado while leaving his new bride at her parents in Michigan while he begins rebuilding of his parent’s ranch. It only took six months to get part of it under roof and when it was done he flew back to Michigan retrieve his bride to some news Lori was with child.

      They have been in the newly built home only eighteen months when they have a visitor, honey can you get the door please; Mel opens the front door and greets his friend; Larry Ellis. Larry takes Mel’s extended hand hello my friend what brings you out to our neck of the woods. Just thought it was time I stopped by to see how the newlyweds are doing Larry replies. Seems to me it’s a little out of your way isn’t it Larry? Honey its Larry Ellis you remember Larry don't you? Indeed I do Lori says as she comes from the kitchen into the hall and greets Larry. How's the house coming along Lori? Pretty much finished, Lori replies and just in time for our second baby, she's due in a few months. Doesn't seem like it's been that long since you guys were strangers meeting for the first time. Larry it’s been two and a half years and we got married right after the investigation; said Mel. By the way Lori asks after that vice president disappeared and that bomb went off in Springfield that nearly took out half of the college; did you ever figure out who was behind all that? We suspected the guy who set the explosives at Lori's condo was probably the same guy who took out the college.

      The Black’s fortunately were on vacation when the bombs went off however we think the guy we already had detained had already set those charges was one in the same bomber responsible for the one we found in Lori’s flat as well. Perhaps revenge for their help in discovering those germs sprayed on those crops that had been weaponized. His targets seemed to be the Black’s both are college professors slash researchers, did you ever meet Clair she works for the CDC they helped us in the investigation you know? I was briefed, never really had a reason to meet her, and might have in passing I suppose but not formally. How did the VP disappear anyway? Turns out he had a thing for the wife Clair Black from way back in the day when he was an intern and he just couldn’t get her out of his system. Some how he found out they were being targeted and got them travel papers as Diplomats, once they were on their way, he filed a flight plan for Spain; and then boarded his private jet, no ones seen or heard from him or his security detail since. Air sea rescue mounted an extensive search over land and sea but no wreckage were found not a trace.

      So you gonna tell me why you’re really here? Well I might as well tell you; I've been given a new assignment and I could really use your help once again. Recent intelligence has uncovered a plot by the Chinese regime to steal a new asset we have with the Brits and we have reasons to believe our missing vice president is being held in China. Why China I said; China is one of our allies aren’t they? On paper at least; Larry took out his briefcase and set it on the table, before I say more I must ask you to sign these. He took out two sets of non-disclosure documents and said; Lori, Mel I've been authorized by the arms service committee show you these secret plans but before I do; you must sign and if you ever talk about what I'm about to say, well let us just say it will be a long time before either of you see the light of day again. Lori and Mel sat down and looked at the documents before them, Mel took the pen Larry offered and signed his name at the bottom, handed the pen to Lori and said; honey you're not in the military and you can take a drive and not ever have know what Larry has to say. No way, she says I'm American as apple pie and I want to know; she takes the pen and scribbles her name.

      Larry takes both documents and stuffs them into his briefcase. Then he sits down Mel do you remember the SR seventy one Blackbirds? Sure who doesn't there's one sitting in the museum over in Dayton Ohio. That was the first one, the Navy wanted another one, a small version of it but stealth that could do what the Blackbird could do and more, so Lockheed built the Blackbird X and gave her a face lift and a new name. The prototype is smaller, faster, can take off on land and from a carrier and without a catapult and it’s nearly invisible to the naked eye on the ground. No! The military has been dreaming about a plane like that for years! Mel replied; but the cost for a bird like that must be in the billions.
