The day of their final decent arrives and Sara is forced to come to terms with the fact that most look absolutely human, except for some strange features. But it's the sudden onslaught of sexual pleasure that courses through her when she catches the eye of one of the men who arrive on the strange vessel that causes her fear to skyrocket. She knows what they want. They want to integrate into their population and find their "mates".

Zane Shwort arrives on Earth after a terrifying encounter left him beaten and broken only months before. Now, all Zane wishes is to find the woman he is meant to be with. He encounters Sara the night he arrives and immediately knows the headstrong female is his, but the past arrives in a terrifying nightmare to separate them when he receives a shocking discovery. Kain the bastard that had kept him chained and beaten placed a curse upon him and only Sara, the fiery woman with blazing blue eyes, is the key to breaking it.

    Acknowledgments

There are many people I wish to thank. I could not have the wonderful cover I have, if not for my cover designer Linda Boulanger. And let's not forget my friend and proofreader, Amanda LaBorde who helped me go over the final version. I also owe thanks to husband and son, my husband for always supporting me, which I greatly appreciate. My son has been a little inspiration since his birth, providing me with many details to add to the overall plot. Last but not least my parents. They have both supported me since I began my journey into telling the stories that make me happy.

    Chapter 1

Her heart pounded to the rhythm of the object that suddenly appeared within the sky, its echo a loud roaring sound as it descended towards the earth. The Aliens had arrived. Sara had known that the strange beasts would eventually come. Everyone had heard that their planet had been destroyed by a gigantic raging meteorite. Now all her fears had come true. Her fingers shook as she held the paper within her clutches, the paper that had practically signed her and every other human's death warrant if they didn't cooperate with the orders.

Just last week the Aliens had sent out notices to every single human and human family that inhabited the planet and announced that they would be having a gathering of sorts. How they knew so many languages was beyond her but she did know what the message meant of course and she never relayed the information to any other, in hopes that her ominous dream had been just that, a dream. There was no way that what she saw could be coming, but deep in her heart she knew that none of her visions had ever been wrong before.

A harsh shiver wracked through her chilled body as she pulled her deep green turtleneck sweater closer around her as she hugged her slight frame. This was just so cruel! Making humans gather together for the arrival of the Aliens! Her hand convulsed around the note and she forced herself to take in its contents one last time, still in utter disbelief.

    Humans,

We want every human present who is physically able to join us for our final decent onto your plant. Our landing time will be at seven sharp at the capitol, where we will discuss our views and your opportunities.

Sara ground her teeth together in obvious anger as more ships began to land all around them. Trapping every last human within their confines, which wasn't many after their first attack. Barely a million humans had survived the catastrophic attack that the aliens had unleashed. Leaving families to grieve and despair over their own lives and those who had been murdered.

Her family had survived the assault thanks to her psychic heritage. She had warned all her family and friends to hide beneath the earth in makeshift bomb shelters and they had survived. The Aliens' second decent had seen that the humans knew their place and would not rise up in anger.

Now for their third and final, they gathered them all here in this one place that spanned many miles as everyone waited for the leader's announcement. Her breathing was labored as her mother stood beside her, shaking in fear. No one seemed angry except Sara herself. The others had instantly gone submissive to the Aliens' wishes for they feared dying as the rest had.

The moment one of the Aliens stepped from his gigantic ship, Sara blinked in confusion. He looked human, except for the obvious black stripes that adorned his cheeks, arms, and chest. She concluded that his legs probably sported them to but with the pair of pants that covered his legs, she was unsure and he looked strangely familiar. She was fairly close to the ship and could make out the man's features. He was extraordinarily handsome, his body toned from obvious exercising.

Why wasn't he ugly!? Her vision hadn't shown the creatures standing there so she had no idea of what they looked like, only a deep voice that rang threw the crowd. The damned invaders were supposed to be hideous and untouchable! They were Aliens! Aliens! And as his crew began filing out behind him Sara had to fold her arms at the onslaught of arousal that shot through her. What the fuck? She hissed internally. Was her body out of its every loving mind!? She shot her gaze around to a few others who seemed to be similarly affected but the rush of sexual want did not seem to spread to every individual, only about five that she could identify, one of those being her friend Alice.

Sara's eyes scanned the crowd of men and woman determined to take over her planet and her gaze suddenly locked with one of the crew men; a man very much like in her dreams, she saw his eyes slightly widen as he drew in a deep breath and a quick smile flashed across his face. Fuck, no! There was absolutely no way in hell one of those Alien bastards was going to touch her! She almost whimpered in need when her sex began pulsing strangely the more she denied her attraction. And as she stared at the man who sported short dark hair, she could see his contained amusement. She lowered her eyes in a glare and bared her teeth, something she had always done when angered or annoyed. A habit she never fully understood.

The leader sweeping his gaze across the mass of humans who survived the onslaught captured her attention and as he straightened, the vision Sara had been dreading became reality. His words like ice poured over her leaving her feeling bereft and frightened.

We now rule you. Humans who have survived, you will be allowed to live among us and continue your education but if you happen to find a mate amongst my people you will have to obey and listen specifically to him or her. Gasps rang through the air as people turned to one another in complete shock. Mate? Sara shivered in disgust. She would never mate with one of those creatures! She had hoped this vision would
