The Hymns Of A Fallen Poet
()
About this ebook
The Hymns Of A Fallen Poet shows you the blueprint of revolution. This book shows you what present is like, and how the present effects the future. We should thank God for the poet because the poet is the one that sends the message. Prophets bring the word of God, but who do you think talks to the prophet before they get to earth, the poet does. Poetry is one of the worlds greatest arts, but it's not just an art it's also a language. This language is hard to master. It's just some are just born with the language already part of their speech.
Sheldon Hollis
Hello, my name is Sheldon Hollis. I was born in Chicago, Illinois and raised in Omaha, Nebraska. September 1, 1993 is when an artists was born. I am an author, poet, and screen writer. My dream is to cement a legacy that will live on forever. But I know to cement a legacy you must first blueprint your legacy. In life nothing comes easy but you should want it to be that way. If there were no road blocks, what story would you have to tell? How would history remember you. Every day, when I wake up, I think about my legacy. I wonder, sometimes, how people will remember me. To create a legacy, you have to first create a blueprint. And when you're done creating your blueprint, you start sculpting out your legacy. This journey will be long but I know this journey will pay off. Legacy is hard to achieve but I know my legacy will be remembered.

Cruise Down The Metro
Down the street lives a man that is homeless.
I caught him one day sucking the meat off of a bone until it was boneless.
He asked me Where the coke is
I walk away with a smile like I didn’t even notice.
As I get on the bus I notice a man begging for a ticket.
I bought him two tickets, and he shouted, May God be your witness.
So sick and tired of the youth not listening.
Morality and parental advisory are the keys that are missing.
Black revolutionists down the street are fist clinching.
Protestors up the road are protesting over the neighborhood lynching.
Poverty is high but it isn’t worth mentioning.
Turn to channel 3 and you will se who received the harsher sentencing.
The noise from the truck can be heard through the thick bricks.
A mans not ranked by his knowledge; he is ranked by his clothing and kicks.
I see different things everyday when I drive down the metro.
Young men and women throwing up gang signs in the ghetto.
The walls on the building are covered with calligraphy.
The church down the street is for the men who lust to learn their history.
High Sands
When you walk through high sands you will come in contact with snakes and vipers.
When you learn the concept of life you will be remembered as one of the great scholastic writers.
My journey won’t become complete unless I am able to wrestle with tigers.
Across the boundary awaits lions and snipers.
Weapons are needed, but weapons aren’t provided.
No wonder
