About this ebook

Stress and depression, although common among parents, still remain shrouded in taboo. Instead of reaching out, parents who suffer from these conditions tend to internalize and lack support to get through. Yet with the right tools, depression and recurrent stress can be 'cured'.

This books draws from different ways of healing such as nutrition, herbalism, aromatherapy, yoga, affirmations and meditations, to create a buffet of healing options from which anyone can find a menu that works for them.

The book is intended as a step stone guide to create your own program on your path to a more balanced and less stressful existence as a parent.

Solitude, frequent moving, malnutrition, the difficult birth of my son all added to my sorrow.

It took a friend on the internet to ‘diagnose’ this depression. Knowing what this ugly beastie was, I set off to raid the internet for all I could find to make a change, to get back to a situation where I felt content in living, where I felt in control of my own life, where I felt happy for being a parent, and not just burdened. I contacted caregivers, coaches, therapists and
