Introduction

It is beyond the mind of any man to translate the infinite into finite language. All the divinity of Thy Majesty and all the eternity of Thy love and Thy wisdom are incapable of being understood by those whose senses confine them to a world of matter.

We desire to spread knowledge of all that will make man fulfil his appointed role, which will enable him to claim his larger destiny.

Brenda and I have spent most of our lives together, my cousin’s arrival in this world on the second of March 1952 was just six months before my own on the twelfth day of September in the same year. For the first four years of our lives we lived in Ancoats, in inner city Manchester, in an era long before inner city living became fashionable. I am one of three children, having two older brothers, whilst Brenda has two older sisters and two younger brothers. As small children, we played ‘house’ together on the bombed out land nearby, amongst the debris of demolished buildings, and between the cramped rows of dilapidated pavement terraces. Where there once stood line upon line of neat red brick dwellings, now only a pitiful few remained. At one end of the street stood a public house with barely a scratch evident on its glossy green tiled exterior, whilst at the opposite end a well loved grocers/ sweet shop had also mercifully survived with hardly a crack in its worn, smooth, stone corner steps. As toddlers we happily amused ourselves, venturing just beyond the boundaries of our tiny backyards, and always with an ever watchful big brother minding us. We created chairs from chunks of shattered bricks and plates from bits of broken roof slates, innocently unaware that our makeshift toys were the result of devastating bombings. When the places we called home were eventually demolished and the remains flattened to make way for the building of new homes, we were both still just toddlers. We never completely lost touch, even though we had to move to different parts of the city with our families.

Our close connection remained as my mum and Brenda’s mum made regular visits to each other, helping one another through some hard and testing times, as loving sisters do. Brenda and I grew together throughout our childhood and into adulthood, learning necessary, if sometimes painful lessons along the way.

My cousin and I have always shared a keen interest in the meaning of life, and as the years passed we evolved from curious teenagers to caring mothers, and our deep concern and interest in life’s mysteries steadily grew. Throughout the passing decades we both read and studied many spiritual and thought provoking books in our continual search for more and more answers. In attempting to understand our universe, we have delved into the world of Quantum Physics, and the enigmas presented by it. Quantum Physics is not an easy read, our present understanding of its basic principles has taken time, repeated reading and arduous study; admittedly its full comprehension still eludes us, as we believe it does most scientists! Yet we trust we now know enough to enable our understanding of the invisible, elementary particles that make up the all pervading sea of energy that exists all around us. Our search remains relentless, in our quest for answers to the eternal questions that seem to stream unremittingly, one from another. We have, over the years, experienced both prophetic and informative dreams, visions, impingements, and many varied communications from our friends and loved ones in the invisible spheres, as have other members of our families. We feel privileged to bear witness to the amazing manifestations that have been presented to us in our photographs, along with the numerous and diverse, mystical and spiritual revelations we have both experienced. We feel an overwhelming need to share them with others, as we are acutely aware that knowledge is useless if not shared for the benefit of all.

This is an age of growing spiritual awareness, more than ever before, people from all walks of life are questioning their purpose on earth at this time. Many are looking for a deeper meaning for their earthly existence. Ordinary, everyday people are asking all the right questions, like, what am I doing here, what is my purpose in this life, is there a ‘Heaven’? Have I experienced other lives, and where was I before I was laid in ‘The Cradle’… equally where will I be after I am laid in ‘The Grave’? These are the very questions we too ask ourselves daily. However, there are still many in this world of the physical, who largely dismiss the existence of other, invisible realms, preferring to concentrate their conscious minds predominantly upon the material world. But we have known for eons that our sum total is far greater than that of just the physical. The deep conscious mind is capable of miraculous feats and of unspoken communications; it is the facilitator, the bridge that joins our physical existence to those of the unseen.

In attempting to solve these ‘life mysteries,’ some have turned to science, others to religion in their quest for the truth. In our own personal experiences neither one alone yielded sufficient satisfactory evidence to form any insightful conclusions. Each contained slivers, fractions, of the answers we were seeking. We believe some of those answers will be found when the Orb Enigma is acknowledged, studied, and accepted as proof positive of the existence of other non-visible dimensions.

Through the ages there have always been prominent individuals, pioneers, truth seekers, all of whom have travelled this well worn path before us, and have also pondered these issues; some of them include outstanding scientists, physicists and philosophers, who on making public their findings were derided and ridiculed by their peers and the media of the time.

These include Sir Oliver Lodge, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Sir William Crookes, Gertrude Clendenning, Maurice Barbanell, Arthur Finlay, and Edgar Cayce, to name but a few.

The term standing on the shoulders of giants springs to mind on naming some of the aforementioned inspirational and extraordinary men and women, who through their tenacity and enduring search for answers, have left us a legacy of spiritual and scientific knowledge. Throughout history we find progress is only made when the brave and the curious continue to tenaciously ask the questions that others think have already been answered, or worse still, do not recognize that there are questions to answer, enigmas to be solved!

Many fail to notice that miracles happen on a daily basis, and believe that only the very naïve give credence to the true magic of what is ‘Super-nature’ (Supernatural). This, we think, is because people have lost touch with the natural world and the true essence of their being, and many have replaced it with modern technology and the material world. They have forgotten that we are not only in the world, but the world is in us. We create from our own consciousness everything that we are, and all that we will become. Each life situation, each bodily condition, each joy and drama, start and end from within our invisible, intangible, subconscious, superconscious mind. Our physical, basic, and incredibly limited senses are all that some people can comprehend, and yet it is within our invisible minds that our true power and life force reside. So where does this creative ‘powerhouse’ of the mind dwell, what is its exact location, where is the invisible realm of the all powerful mind? Some say the mind is in the brain, but if this is the case, show me a map of the brain to pinpoint its locale, show me what a thought looks and feels like, show me a tangible physical piece of human apparatus, as with the brain. The brain is of use to the mind, which operates in tandem with it while life exists within the physical.

Be assured we are not talking of the brain here, for we all know where the ‘grey matter’ lies within our physical frame. It is just as described in its label, it is ‘matter’, and of the physical, unlike that of the mind, which is the seat of the soul.

These questions have baffled the most learned scientists and philosophers throughout the ages, but it is only baffling to those who refuse to seriously contemplate the existence of an invisible, but nevertheless entirely real, conscious and intelligent life force, contained within the visible physical body. This life force is sometimes called the soul, the mind, the spirit; the ‘Body of Light’. It is bound to the physical in this life, but when the body ‘dies’, the life force does not, it moves on, into the invisible realms, onto a higher vibrational world of thought, a world of light, a world of light waves.

How can we measure the super-conscious, the supernatural happenings or materialisations of the unearthly? Science is hindered by its attempts to measure the immeasurable. It is not possible to solve an enigma of the cosmos by mere earthly standards.

It is like trying to measure a room with a sunbeam… ridiculous! There are some things that do not comply to earthly scientific measures.

Communicating with Unknown Dimensions

Communication in its many and various forms consists of some or all of the following;

The act of transmission, the exchange of thoughts, messages, or information, as by speech, signals, writing, or behaviour.

The transfer of information from one molecule, cell, or organism to another, as by chemical or electrical signals or by behaviour.

We believe all of the Orbs, light anomalies and magnificent manifestations displayed within these pages, to be a communication of sorts, originating from this same world of light on a higher vibrational sphere, a different, as yet unknown dimension; a dimension of much finer vibrations, and of such a high frequency that it cannot be perceived by our physical eyes. Our own personal belief is that these communications are being sent intentionally from the spirits of those whose earthly bodies have now perished, those we term ‘The Dead’.

The dead we speak of are only dead in the mortal fleshy body sense; it is what remains, the mind, the thought energy, and the vital life force that is in communication with us. Through various means of manifestation the world of spirit pervades our senses, in its attempt to convey the message of its very existence.

Acknowledging the messenger alone would serve to gratify, to some degree, the immense effort deployed from the other side. Their simple message to us is, we are here, we don’t just die, peg out, fall off the perch, or kick the bucket. WE LIVE, we are here, hear us, see us, feel us.

Our loving spirit family and long departed friends are awaiting our acknowledgment, our communication, be it a silent thought, or a verbally shared treasured memory, they know, they hear it, they see it, they feel it.

Never doubt that they are with you, think of them and they are there, sharing your day, sharing your happiness and your sorrows, sharing your life. You are not alone, they hear your every loving thought, don’t weep for their absence, for they are never absent. They are your constant companions throughout your life, and will be waiting to take you by the hand when it is your time to be re-united. Meanwhile, you must live this life with kindness, humility and LOVE, for love is the most powerful vibration of all.

The love vibration, through thought and deed is what nourishes the world of spirit, the higher vibrational world we will all find ourselves a part of, on our earthly demise.

Anything is possible, so go beyond the realms of possibility and then still further, forget what you think you know about reality, for what is to follow in this book was, and still is, like a voyage of discovery to the unknown shores of a mysterious land, inhabited by a powerful, loving and all pervading energy. An energy which is tuned into a much higher frequency than our own, from where it continuously reveals its presence to us, in an effort to provide evidence of a world of pure thought consciousness on a higher vibrational plane. The world of consciousness being the real world, which is driven by our every thought, and by thought alone.
