This book explains how a nonbeliever can receive life from the Lord Jesus Christ just as the Father is the source of life and the giver of life; the Son is able to give life to others. This is a distinct statement as to the deity of Jesus Christ and as to His equality with the Father. God the Father has given Jesus the authority to be the judge of all humanity in the world. Jesus Christ is the resurrection and the life. On the day of resurrection heaven and earth rejoice; the gate of heaven is open to those who give their life to Christ, because Jesus Christ is the God of Resurrection. I am The Resurrection And The Life - Grace Dola Balogun

    DEDICATION

I dedicate this book to the One and only, the God of resurrection, who came to this world in our own form, who lived with us on this Earth for thirty-three years. He was crucified, was dead and buried, and was raised to life again on the third day. He ascended to Heaven to plead our case at the right hand of the Throne. He is our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ; He is the One and only, the true Son of God, full of grace and truth. Jesus Christ is the blessed ruler of all the souls of human beings of the Earth. The incarnate begotten Son of God, the Father, He is the immortal, invisible and the only wise God. The only true God of resurrection and the eternal life, life everlasting.

I also dedicate this book to all the people of this world, not only to believers alone, but also to all the people of this world who want to know the truth of the power of the resurrection and the life of resurrection in Christ. Lovingly, this I write to all the believers of Jesus Christ who have life in Him, as well as to the non-believers who may read this book and decide to put their faith in Him.

By reading this book one will come to know that Jesus Christ is the resurrection and the life. Believers in Him will understand that they will never die or deteriorate; they will be perfectly designed by God for the greater life to come hereafter. This book is also dedicated to all people of other religions who will read this book and gain the wisdom, knowledge and understanding of the resurrection life which is only offered by Jesus Christ, the Redeemer King, the Lord and Savior Lord of all the people in the universe.

    PREFACE

Mary and Martha waited for Jesus Christ during His Earthly Ministry, ‘Lord, Martha said to Jesus, ‘if you had been here, my brother would not have died. But I know that even now God will give you whatever you ask.’ Jesus said to her, ‘Your brother will rise again.’ Martha answered, ‘I know he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day’ (John 11:21-24). When their brother was sick and Jesus was delayed, Lazarus, their brother, had died. Jesus said, I am the resurrection and the life. This means that believers who are in Jesus Christ, physical death is not the tragic end; instead it is a gateway to the abundant life, eternal life and close communion with God.

In the Old Testament, the word and the idea of bodily resurrection evolves from an unbelievable concept into a developed expectation. Beginning with the judgment of death in the Book of Genesis, the divine plan of God unfolds from the beginning of creation. The patriarchal period concerning the promise coming to pass with regards to the seed, I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you, I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse, and all people on earth will be blessed through you (Genesis 12:1-3).

This is the second prophecy in the Bible concerning the coming of Jesus Christ; it was revealing the spiritual blessing that would come through Abraham’s seed. The seed means Jesus Christ from the very beginning emphasizes the truth that obedience to God is essential to a saving relationship with God. Christ also said in the Book of John, Do not be amazed at this, for a time is coming when all who are in their graves will hear his voice and come out—those who have done good will rise to live, and those who have done evil will rise to be condemned (John 5:28-29). This means according to the Scriptures, judgment of God is always on the basis of deeds because one’s deeds are a manifestation of his or her faith and inner- most condition.

We will be judged not by our profession of faith in Jesus Christ, but by the live we have lived here on Earth. Those who have done evil such as immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires, and the like have no place in the lives of believers. Those who teach, contrary to the teaching of Christ and the Apostles, that a person can have eternal life while living outside of fellowship with Christ are teaching the ultimate deception. It leads them and their followers to trust in a false doctrine of eternal security.

The words of Jesus must be heeded; those who have done evil will rise to be condemned. All the dead will one day be raised. Some will be raised to life and others to condemnation. This is the truth for every person who has ever lived or will ever live. A person falls into one of these two classes. Jesus Christ made it clear and predicted that when the people of this Earth accept the message of the Gospel and receive the Savior; they then pass from death into life. This verse explains how a non-believer can receive life from the Lord Jesus Christ just as the Father is the source of life and the giver of life; the Son is able to give life to others. This is a distinct statement as to the deity of Jesus Christ and as to His equality with the Father. God, the Father, has given Jesus the authority to be the Judge of all humanity in the world. Christ is the resurrection and the life.

Low in the grave he lay –Jesus my Savior, waiting the coming day Jesus my Lord! Up from the grave he arose with a mighty triumph over his foes; he arose a victor from that dark domain, and he lives forever with his saints to reign, He arose, He arose Hallelujah Christ arose.

    CHAPTER ONE

The History Of Jesus Christ Before His Resurrection

"Jesus said to her, ‘I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live even though he dies, and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?’ " (John 11:25)

In the Old Testament, the notion and belief of bodily resurrection evolves from a vague concept into a developed expectation. From the beginning of creation, from the Garden of Eden, the Judgment of death from the Book of Genesis – When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it (Genesis 3:6). The verse in the Gospel of Matthew, which says that, Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the desert to be tempted by the devil. After fasting forty days and forty nights, he was hungry, the tempter came to him and said, ‘If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread.’ Jesus answered, ‘It is written: man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God’ (Matthew 4:1- 4). Let us compare the temptation of Adam and Eve with Jesus. The devil used the same devices; he noticed that when he used it on Adam and Even it worked, but he tried to do the same thing with Jesus. Jesus was full of the power of the Holy
