      Dead World's And Small Boys

      HELL IS A WAR TORN DUMP CALLED EARTH. Black, dark and terrifying with smoke that wafts upwards in curling corkscrews that symbolize death done violently. The earth is scorched black and smoking and shakes from the diggers working below the ground to milk the land of every resource imaginable.

      On this rough and broken surface stands the heavy boots of a soldier, decked in metal and standing at a solid 5 feet. His small hands clutch a beam rifle tricked out for use by hands to small to be so calloused.

      Private Pain sound off.

      Alive.

      Private Ricks sound off.

      No noise, just breathing and a gurgling sound of pain.

      MISSION STATUS UPDATED:

      - 5 KIA

      - 7 MIA

      - 1 ALIVE

      The last standing survivor runs his fingers over a small insignia on his shoulder. A bird with golden wings, a creature of myth and perfect considering he is it: The Phoenix.
