About this ebook

She is a tenacious woman of the eighties. Tuck your butt into a comfortable chaise and get to know thirty-four year old Gladys Tripalong, as she comes alive through her side splitting journals. Can she succeed as a driver for a get-a-way car, or as a newspaper advice columnist, or an activities director for a seniors’ residence?

She is strong willed and loves from the heart. Devoted to her teenage son, Daniel, and close to both her sisters. If you believe her fanciful memories, she was once kidnapped by gypsies, and also was once an Indian princess.

On May 21, 1984, at 12:13 p.m., Gladys Tripalong on her lunch break from her position at the SNOBS Lodge disappeared. From that single moment on there was no sign of her. Her sisters Carol and Ev spared no expense in their search for clues. Her lover Joe, a detective, used all resources at his disposal.

Irene Hamilton

Canadian, Irene Hamilton was born in Grande Prairie, a long time ago and has lived in Alberta most of her life. People whisper that she is unconventional. She and hubby Ken hang out with friends, family, two children, animals, and six perfect grandchildren. She began her life with a stubby pencil clutched in her raised fist and she will die the same way. Early retirement from a partnership in a private business college, as well as a personnel agency allows her time to write stories and short novels. She is currently working on book three of her GLADYS TRIPALONG series. Humor, generously laced with racy components is her preferred genre. She had the opportunity to grow up in a small Canadian town in the company of the same kids throughout her schooling. The best part of her week was walking ten blocks to the library for a load of novels to captivate her imagination.
