Then comes the adventures of Senoj the vampire of the 21st Century, and all the excitement of living as an America black man in the modern era with all the extra-cirricular activities that come with the new found way of life. It just happens to piss him off just a tad some ot the stuff he has to endur as a black that he never had to go through as a white man. In The Beginning

The saga of the original blood sucker is not myth, the story of the Dracula is true. The fiction story of the blood sucker born in Europe and traveling through other parts of the globe is not a fictitious story telling of a hideous creature gone wild. Yet, few take this fact of the undead seriously. The historical significance of such an event ever at all happening is mind-boggling. Few, discuss the possibility of such an existence ever being in fact real. Yet, the first vampires on earth left trails everywhere they traveled in the days of old, before they were understood as for what they were in fact in reality. Man could hardly believe there are such things as vampires or what or how they lived.

0ver three hundred years ago vampires came to America. A few moved northwest but most settled in the northeast. Now Vampires exist wherever they chose. This account concerns just one particular vampire that lives in New York City. This is not a unique saga. Existing for centuries vampires became, as decades past, relatively intelligent. Having witnessed the world develop into something mortal contemporaries could never have been able to understand, but growing not feeble, as it were, this vampire began tiring of the existence he led; forced to sleep by day and walk the earth at night he sought a way to change an ageless pattern into something new.

As centuries came and went, he began to put to use much of the science he saw grow from an infant into the marvel it is today. Studying to make modern science serve him as well as it served mortal man, his in depth study of light in beginning in 1947 allowed him to discover a means to travel in daylight. His first attempt at daylight travel forced him to wear thick clothes and glasses which made it almost impossible for him to see. He learned even displaced sunlight was harmful to his sensitive eyes. Though he could traverse the face of earth in daylight, he could not travel for long period of time, it was much too difficult an endeavor and the danger to his eyesight was far too much of a price to pay for such a coveted, but not much needed aspiration.

It's true, undead are cursed to avoid sunlight. There is something about it that obliterates undead matter. It consumes the flesh of vampires and is as much a killer to them as wooden stakes through the hearts, holy water, you remember the list, don't you? All you recall about them is true, garlic, crosses, it's true; they cannot come into your home unless first invited.

Notlrac LeCator and all other vampires who migrated into the Twentieth Century are the descendants of the original cursed soul of the Count. Their existence first recorded in Europe as a horror story is known in science as a myth. They lived off the blood of rats in caves first and because of their feeding pattern they spawned a spices of rats now termed bats [Desmosdontidae trypanosomiasis]. Living off the blood of rats and other dumb animals vampire long ago gave up murdering human victims as it were. Centuries of existence provided them with untold riches, the kind which comes with inheritance. Notlrac himself had been his own son many, many times, by turn of the Twentieth Century he and those like him were icons of industry. Pre-industrial America brought with it an accounting system for mortals that lived on earth. It became harder and harder to leave to himself an inheritance. Birth certificates made the act of birth a ritual that 17th and 18th century historians did not really care to perfect, not so in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Slavery, the passing on of property and other riches, and the pre-modern development of nations made it almost impossible for foreigners to take over strange and new lands or leave societies with their riches fully intact.

If only modern man could know of how complicated he had made his life. A 17th century vampire and a 20th century vampire were two different things. Vampires still lived off the blood of living beings, but by the 20th century, certain advancement's made it possible to purchase all the blood any vampire could ever need, besides the days of just killing people for the hell of it had long ago been all but done away with. Birth and death certificates made outright killing for blood a thing of the past.

Human blood was far superior to any other on earth, it is much richer than the blood of it's best contemporaries, Goat, Sheep and Horse, though such farm animals could not easily be bleed without notice. Of the human blood types, A is the more sought by undead, followed by AB, B and last O. A required necessity for undead, are the living properties of blood, its erythrocytes give life without concern to species, though human blood is preferred it is not necessary that only human blood be acquired, though desired, today however, blood is more or less blood, though human is preferred, animal can be substituted in a crunch.

Wealth made blood easy to acquire. No decent vampire would lower himself to the level of having to kill simply because of a need to survive nowadays. The pleasure of the hunt is an ancient art only new vampires can possibly have a hard time weaning themselves from. By 1795 vampires had rules. The secret society of undead that most decent vamp's (and that is what they liked calling themselves) belonged to did not have to outright murder simply to exist. Vamps purchased human blood from many sources, legal and otherwise. They registered as hemophiliacs and such and regularly purchase as much blood as they either need or want and that's that. Blood is always
