Joan Chamberlain
Joan Chamberlain is an author, therapist, and life coach with over 30 years of experience helping adults, couples, and teens. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Finance, a Bachelor’s in education, and a Masters in individuals, couples, and family counseling. Her book, Smart Relationships, has helped many people achieve the self-awareness needed to see themselves honestly. Its wisdom has helped them work toward improving their relationships with themselves, their friends, and their families. “Joan Chamberlain is a godsend,” says one client. “My wife and I would still be stuck in one spot, racing at top speed but going nowhere, if it weren’t for her. It is because of her that our future is no longer some uncertain, scary eventuality that we hurtle toward, terrified. She has a way of cutting right through the nonsense to the very heart of our issues, guiding us firmly – but with great care – toward a happier and more fulfilled us.” A kind and inspiring therapist, coach, and teacher, Joan is dedicated to helping others expand their understanding of who they are, where they’re going, and how they are going to get there. She believes that knowing oneself is critical for success. Understanding how our personalities are both unique and the same is the key to what makes vibrant relationships of all kinds work, and to how we can turn out balanced, emotionally-wholesome children. “Passion is knowing what you want and never stopping until you get it,” says Joan. “My passion is working with individuals to help them explore their inner life, to maximize their talents and to lead fuller, more alive, more contented lives.” Joan Chamberlain lives in Chesterfield, MO, with her granddaughter Tiffany, and continues to counsel individuals and couples, all the while publishing a website, books, and paper for those wishing to maximize their happiness.

The Four Amazing Personalities Tell You Exactly
Introduction
Can you be happier, more successful? Can your relationships go more smoothly, at home and work? Can you parent more effectively? Yes! But, to make it happen, you’ve got to know more about personality types: yours and everyone else's. Here’s why.
When you know yourself, positives and negatives, you realize how you may be sabotaging yourself. You realize how you and others misunderstand each other so easily. You see why your relationships are often difficult, no matter who they're with.
Here's your chance to learn more about you and everyone else you know. Then, use that awareness to make the most of your personal assets. Use it to make your relationships the very best they can be. Use it to become a better parent. Use it to be smarter at your job. Let's get started.
Amazing: At birth, imagine yourself as the wonderful but helpless infant you were. Your parents and, perhaps, older siblings took care of you, too. At about eight weeks or so, you began to study everything around you, mostly the people. You needed to find a place in your family. You wanted to fit in,
to belong.
Unbelievable but true: By the time you reached four or five years old, you had formed a group of UNconscious ideas, your own belief system, that:
• directed how you would behave in life,
• explained what you expected from others, and
• described how you saw the world.
Even more surprising: Those same UNconscious beliefs direct your adult behavior now, as they have all of your growing-up years. If you think back on your life, your actions, no matter what age you were, have been pretty consistent.
So, that means: You, me and everyone else, have been on AutoPilot with our belief systems directing us from childhood right into and through our adult years. The interesting thing? Many of us don’t know it.
Even more important: You'll have the edge in your life if you decide to get acquainted with your UNconscious AutoPilot.
Alright then; how do you increase your awareness of you and the others in your life? That’s easy. Explore the four personality types:
• Comfort,
• Pleasing,
• Control,
• Superiority (Achieving)
Each distinctly different, they give you a quick but surprisingly accurate description of your personality beliefs.
Most of us have two stronger types that we use most of the time. We use the other two less. You
