      It was a fantastic read. Can’t wait to get home to start the second book.

      Holy page turner! I was up all night with this one. Totally LOVE this take and the dynamic between man and vampire. Jinkies I need to get onto Book 2, the suspense is KILLING me!

      Great “palate cleanser” book! These are the kind of quick fun reads I like after something long and emotional.

      It is a really interesting plot as far as retellings go. However, it was a bit too much of repetition and angst for me, a bit too YA as I thought it was more mature in nature. The cliches and tropes abound, and the monologues go on and on a bit too much. However, I did enjoy the characters and the general idea, and considering this is the first of a seven book saga, I'm interested in what comes next.
