    Hi, I'm Linda Travelute. Some call me Dr. Travelute (Cause I've got this Ph.D. thing that attaches to my name). Some call me Pastor Linda, because I serve at one of the most cutting edge churches on the face of the planet - City of Life Church. Some call me a Friendship Doctor, because my best friend and I are into fixing friendships. (By the way, feel free to get some great friendship help and encouragement here: TheFriendshipDoctors.wordpress.com.) I've got this one super sweet guy who calls me his wife of - gulp - 21 years! And I've got two teenagers, who on good days, call me the coolest mom in the world (or was that just a funky dream? Hmm...). And to some, I'm a fitness and health coach - one who motivates, instructs, encourages, and yes, kicks butts if needed. So here's what I do: I write, I blog. I counsel.       About the Author

      Dr. Linda Travelute has been speaking publicly for more than 25 years and has keynoted many events and church services. She has also appeared on radio shows. For much of her career she served for over 20 years at City of Life Church - a 4,000 plus member church in Central Florida, where she was the Director of Pastoral and Family Care.

      Dr. Travelute has a bachelor’s degree in pastoral theology, a master’s degree in clinical counseling, and a doctoral degree in clinical psychology. Blending the spiritual and the mental areas of study allows her to bring a unique perspective to each presentation. She now devotes most of her time to writing and speaking and currently has three blogs: How To…God’s Way.com, Pray Like a Pro.com, and The Friendship Doctors.com which she co-blogs with her friend, Dr. Kathy Harkema.

      She has authored articles and curriculum published by Charisma Life Publishers and has also worked as a curriculum consultant to Creation House Publishers.
