About this ebook

Alana Waverly, is a strong, professional woman, who finds herself a victim of a failing economy. She is complex, because her struggle is evident in every circumstance she is forced to face. When we first meet her, she is at the lowest point in her life. Rather than being saved by outside influences, she rallies from a multitude of situations most people could never endure, or will face in a lifetime. Slowly, she perseveres these unfortunate events and; she realizes her full potential, because her struggles and her ability to overcome them, comes from deep within.

Fate brings Dylan Clayburn into her life, quite by accident and at the worse time possible. He is drawn to the beauty, who lives in his apartment building. Every time their paths cross, he is attracted to her like a moth to a flame, despite her constant indifference towards him. Dylan is an accomplished business man. He is also a patient man, who loves a challenge and uses his charms from the very beginning of their introduction to slowly chip away at her hard reserve.

This Too Shall Pass emulates how life can be an assaulting hardship and an inspirational drama of love, optimism, inner-strength, and hopefulness.

I was an avid reader of romance fiction way before I literally plunged into writing. My first encounter was back in 1974 at a laundromat. While I was waiting for my clothes to finish the wash cycle, I noticed a cover on a paperback left by someone. I read the backcover and was hooked immediately. That was Kathleen Woodwiss', The Flame and the Flower.I was insatiably addicted and followed other authors like Rosemary Rogers, Cassie Edwards, and Judith McNaught. I participated in a series of creative writing classes in 1980 at a local community college and the praises of my instructor prompted me to write.Fulfilling that dream took nearly thirty years. My journey through life was plagued with two miscarriages, surviving endometrial cancer, a shocking divorce, job loss that created poverty and homelessness. Despite it all, I never gave up on my dream. During those days of desperation, I wrote non-stop to maintain some sense of sanity. If it hadn't been for those tumultuous times, I wouldn't have known how to expressively write and create the kind of raw, human, emotion I wanted my readership to feel during their journey with me.I always love to hear from my readers.
