      Introduction

      I am known as Pineapple Sam. Having adventures in life was easy. Writing is difficult, but I promised myself that I would leave stories behind so people can enjoy them and so that my loved ones can have some idea of Pineapple Sam’s life.

      My adolescent and teenage years were exciting times in my life, but things got just as interesting in my adult life. More often than not, they are the stories of my own personal experiences, something that happened to me. This allows me to express the true sentiment and feeling behind the tale and enables the listener or reader to truly experience each moment in a way and with a realism that simply cannot be discovered in a fictional story. Truly, stories are much more compelling when they come straight from the horse's mouth.

      It must be said that while this book is based, in part, upon actual events, persons, and companies, a number of the characters, incidents, organizations, and names used herein are fictitious, so as to protect anonymity, among other reasons.
