The San Juan Islands in Washington and the Gulf Islands in British Columbia became my playgrounds. From there it was an easy stretch to Hawaii and the fabulous South Pacific, including Fiji, New Zealand and some remote Islands stretching over thousands of miles; I gained the reputation of being "The Island Buyer."
