About this ebook

When witch for hire, Megan Stephens, is assigned to help the local werewolf pack leader find a mate, she thinks the job will be easy. Get in, get it up and get gone. But when she meets Zack Connor, she realizes her future might have a lot more dog jokes in it than she ever imagined.

“I don’t get paid enough to deal with a werewolf that can’t get laid.”

My boss frowned at me. He was under the mistaken impression that I didn’t have enough tact. The truth was, I had no tact.

My co-worker claims that this frown—the one that makes a groove in my boss’s forehead the size of the grand canyon—is reserved for me.

Who says I’m not special?

“Zackary Connor is the pack master and is willing to make it worth your while for making the trip out there.”

I did an eyebrow raise to show mild interest. Hmmm, money? “How long will it take?”

“It shouldn’t take longer than a full moon. The problem isn’t so much that he can’t choose a mate but that he won’t.”

“It kills me to say this, but has this guy taken a look at my love life? The odds of me being able to help him score seem low to slightly above non-existent.”

“Since he doesn’t want your advice, it shouldn’t be a problem. And let’s be clear: he’s not paying for your attitude. Go in there, do a little love spell to get this thing going and leave.”

“By ‘this thing’ do you mean his penis? Because that’s a different spell and, boy, will it cost extra.” I gave him my innocent-eyed expression.

He took a deep breath and looked out the window, no doubt fantasizing about being far away from me. He was just too easy to irritate.

Fortunately, I’m the best Wiccan in a two state area. So my personality literally can’t get me fired.

“Okay. Here is the file. You are expected to show up tomorrow. How does that work for you?”

“The full moon is four days away! What the heck am I going to get done in four measly days? I thought you meant next month.”

“He wants you there now,” my boss said flatly and then he turned his shiny bald head back to his computer screen.

I gave him a sarcastic salute and left. Where the hell was I going?

Very short, but then again it was free so I'm not complaining. Two stars for two reasons. One, as I said it is really short and two, the ending is so abrupt I had to check it twice.

It's a great story. They start off on the wrong foot but find each other as soul mates in a good pace. I think it needed to be longer. I would have loved to know more about their story.

This was a nice quick bit of fun. There wasn't much exploration but then it was designed as a short, sharp interlude (which works quite nicely indeed)

While this book was free, it cost me time and I kind of wish I had that time back.

To be fair, this was a fun, lighthearted read. I liked the sassy, silky style of the narrative and the male lead was intriguing (if completely under developed). Sadly, it felt like a let down when I got to the end of the story and found there was absolutey no pay off for the build up I'd sexual tension. We didn't even get a fade to black we got an end, period.

I can look past the slap-dash fan fiction style of the writing, where virtually nothing is explained about this paranormal universe, and the use of the word 'core,' but this aburptly cutting this story short is a bullshit. Not to mention the fact this story ended only about 47% of ebook, the rest was a preview for one the author's books. Even that woukdn't have bothered me as much is this other book was at all related to Bewitching the Werewolf, but no. It's about an empath who gets seduced by a 1600 old vampire. No thank you.

    What a waste of time.

Cute and short. There were some problems with the formatting in the first few pages but after that everything was fine.

No character development but the humor was nice.

This was an entertaining story, especially considering the short length of it. Packed into this short work is a lot of fun and a whole lot of sexy.

Bewitching the Werewolf was a short story, I enjoyed it and the writing was good.

The downfall was it was too short and the ending was to fast..if felt the story had more places to go and felt rushed.

I would read this book again if the author decided to make it into a full length novel.

A really fun and quick story with lot's of witty lines that had me smiling through the whole thing. Short enough that it can be read in minutes, a little rushed, yet satisfying for such a short story. I'm looking forward to read more about this author.

    s. I think that Hanson could have worked in a little more into the story to really develop the plot. It sort of just felt like a one night stand. Megan went in for her assignment and then wham, bam thank you Ma'am we got the clothes coming off. Maybe some more added tension between Megan and Zack would have worked a little better. We've got the single wolf, a mother who's desperate to get him mated and our funny little witch who is more than ready to bail out on her assignment; throw in some other feisty female werewolves and you've got a making for a good book.

Twenty-four hours later, I was shown into a large office with an amazing view of lush forests and a gurgling stream. I was 40 miles from anywhere. The beaten path was now only visible by GPS.

Zackary Connor’s office building was made of glass, endless windows giving the impression of being outside. It was exactly how I liked nature—air-conditioned and bug free.

The door opened and a well-preserved blonde in a black Chanel suit walked in. She was preceded by a roll of energy that was a pleasant yellow color.

Werewolf.

She extended her hand and I took a step back.

I’m sorry but I can’t shake your hand. It messes with my magic.

She raised a well-plucked eyebrow at me. Fine. I’m Nancy Connor. Thank you so much for coming.

Oh. Hi.

I was hoping to get a chance to speak with you before my son arrived. You must understand how distressing it is that your services are needed. My son is very conflicted over the situation and… well, don’t let him run you off.

Great.

He didn’t hire me, did he? I asked.

I could see the answer already.

"In time, I’m sure he would
