She named me after an old movie about a lady who turned into a panther. The actress, Simone Simon, was born in Bethune, France and she was devastatingly hot.
The Mistress played the DVD on a road trip last summer and I didn’t see the resemblance—I’m an electronic device and I don’t turn into anything but streets—however I do have a magnificent accent and it pleases her to name things so who am I to complain? The car has a name too, it’s Kitty if you must know, and I miss her terribly since I was thrown from the window at 3.13 this morning, torn violently from the cigarette plug and losing all my bearings.
