Debbie Markham
Hi, I'm Debbie Markham, winner of Wipeout (ABC.com, episode 303 in 2010) a professional photographer, single mom, soccer coach, triathlete, coming of age techie & budding writer. My interest in life is EVERYTHING. The way I go about my days is by BEING human. I “do” things all day, but I try to observe myself passionately working towards a deadline & try not to take myself too seriously. The more fun I can have while acting responsibly, the better!Got Sugar? shares reflections, habits & pep! There’s a lot of sweetness surrounding us every day. I’ll share my lifestyle of embracing things that come my way, doing what I love to do (photography & writing), & taking risks to enrich my experience here on planet earth, in hopes you’ll see: you too can do what you love, be healthy, happy, successful and create a life you want. Over the last 15 years, I’ve changed from just getting through each day, to wanting to get up to challenge myself with a goal or unusual game I’ve created. I want to inspire people into the habit of happiness! One of my favorite hobbies is satisfying my sweet tooth, while balancing my health. My healthy sweet tooth fuels my right brain to be creative with recipes (by healthifying desserts.) My lively kids and I are often in the kitchen mixing sweet potions, measuring for baked goods, or making sweet recipes more unique. When we’re not thinking about what’s for dessert, we’re out playing games or on the sports field. While on vacation, we’re on the lookout for the best candy store!Visit my On-Line store at http://www.cafepress.com/GotSugar to get your “Got Sugar?” T-shirt, cup or Kitchen apron!

INTRODUCTION
This book for is for those who love to live life sweet. Now if you read my first book Got Sugar?, you know what I'm talking about. I'm just an average girl who loves staying balanced, healthy and fit, and I also love my sugar. Try to take my cake and you're in for a world of trouble.
Living life sweet isn't just about the sugary goods that I love to bake and eat. It's about making the most out of life. As a busy entrepreneur and single mom, I wanted to do it all without compromising in any arena.
Over the years, I've mastered my own way of doing it all and enjoying it too. I love making the most of time with my kids, I love managing my own business, I love staying active and trying new sports, and I love ducking into the kitchen to round up a batch of sweets for family and friends. Through all of this, I've gathered up some of my life's philosophies—ranging from balancing and time management to staying healthy in spite of my own sweet tooth. These philosophies and a focused mind-set have helped me squeeze all the best out of life. And that's why I say my life is sweet, through and through. As I always say, there's always a way to have your cake and eat it too.
While I'm running my business or spending quality time with my family, I'm always thinking of healthy ways to satisfy my active, competitive spirit. I've created great foundational exercise
