About this ebook

Aside from her dad, who passed away when she was six, Cassidy Jameson has only ever trusted one man: her best friend, Tyler. So of course she follows him to Texas when he leaves for college. She just didn't expect to be so drawn to their new roommate, Gage, a gorgeous guy with a husky Southern drawl. The only problem? He's Tyler's cousin.

Gage Carson was excited to share an apartment off campus with his cousin. He didn't mind that Tyler was bringing the mysterious friend he'd heard about since they were kids . . . until the most beautiful girl he's ever seen jumps out of his cousin's Jeep. There's something about Cassi that makes Gage want to give her everything. Too bad Tyler has warned him that she's strictly off-limits.

Despite everything keeping them apart, Cassi and Gage dance dangerously close to the touch they've both been craving. But when disaster sends her running into Tyler's arms, Cassi will have to decide whether to face the demons of herpast . . . or to burn her chance at a future with Gage.

Once again Molly McAdams has had me reeling from start to finish! Just as in Taking Chances, she has riled up so many emotions in one book! All of the ups and downs... the good the bad..... This book is definitely one to read!

Wow the beginning of this book was great and deep. Although, after kassidy met Gage I found Tyler extremely annoying and started to hate his chapters. I don't understand how Kassidy could even side with Tyler. I couldn't wait for the ending of this book. I loved the jersey shirt that revealed that she was having a baby.

I don't even know why it was OK because it was ridiculous. Cassi first tries to love her best friend Tyler, then runs to Gage when everything falls apart, then runs away with Tyler to face her past. Then he has to go back to school, leaving her alone, but she ends up running into the detective from her past while trying to deal with her present and falls in some type of love with him! Does this girl ever just stand up for herself and say "maybe I should just not be in a relationship and deal on my own rather than with a romantic interest," NO! She doesn't even try and get a career or any goals for herself. Her character is one dimensional in a "I need a boy to save me" kind of way. Annoying. However, I really liked Gage's character. He had passion and drive. He even has another side to him that we see when he is trying to get over Cassidy. He works hard, buys part of his family ranch, builds the business, even grows emotionally by not fighting Connor when comes back into Cassi's life trying to take her away from Gage. He finally gets it, girls don't just leave because a guy says so. Even Tyler grows by realizing he will lose Cassidy if he doesn't stop being a manipulative jerk. I was looking for more realistic drama (if there is such a thing) and a better female character.

WOW!!! What an Awesome awesome book !!!!!! Molly you did an amazing job with this book for sure !!!!

When Cassidy Jameson's best friend Tyler took her to Texas with him when he left for college, she was expecting his cousin, their new roommate, to be a Stetson-wearing cowboy since his family owned a ranch; not this incredibly gorgeous guy with a husky Southern drawl that seemed to make the world stop whenever she looked at him. Because of her past, she's only ever trusted two men in her life, Tyler and her dad whom passed away when she was six. But there's something about Gage that draws her to him in a way she can't explain, only problem? He's always telling Tyler that he doesn't want Cassidy living there and sees her as nothing more than his little sister.

Gage Carson was excited his cousin Tyler was coming to live with, and go to college with him. When he'd called to ask if he could bring his friend Cassi with him, Gage didn't care. Gage had heard about this mysterious friend since they were kids and felt like he already knew her. Nothing would prepare him for watching her jump out of Ty's Jeep though. Not only was Cassi the most beautiful girl he'd ever seen, but there was something about her that within seconds of meeting her, made Gage want to protect her, and make her his. Too bad Tyler made it a point to remind Gage on a daily basis that he was dating her and she was completely off limits.

For a year and a half, Gage and Cassidy dance around their feelings for each other as Tyler continues to keep them apart; until one day Tyler unknowingly pushes her right into Gage's arms. With Tyler unable to keep lying to them, they finally start a relationship both have been craving since their first meeting. But when an accident and disaster sends her back to Tyler and California, will Cassidy be able to come face to face with the demons from her past to live a life she and Gage deserve; or will the fact that she once again ran to Tyler be the final push that ends Cassidy and Gage for good?

Cassidy , ohh dear dear Cassidy , how she survived all those yrs at the hands of her mom and Stepdad Amazed me .. I could not believe all she had been through and my heart just bled for her through it all ... She sure did become one amazing young woman and came out better from it all in the end .

Tyler , Tyler , Tyler.... beginning of the Book I loved him for looking out for Cass and always being there to help her and take care of her .. Middle of the book I actually Hated him . I could not believe he was doing the things he was doing to keep them apart . I can understand a little of him thinking she would ALWAYS be his , but when he saw how she felt about Gage he truly should of stepped aside and let her live ... End of the book I Loved him again , because he did just that he finally manned up and let things happen between Gage and Cass instead of trying to come between them again ...

Gage , Man I LOVED him from the start , he never had me disliking him for one second throughout the whole book . He truly was amazing in how he took such great care of Cass once he was able to . I believe his only fault in the whole book was Not talking to Cass himself and just talking to Ty about his feelings . He should of talked to her ...

Connor I wanted to kick in the ass ... enough said about him ahhahah

I loved the end of the book , I love how Cass was able to beat her childhood and move on and have a family of her own , that was awesome ...

First off this is a tortuous book but I mean that in a good way!
My gosh it took for ever - years for Cassidy and Gage to finally figure out that Ty was keep them from each other- it was almost ridiculous and my heart was aching so bad for Gage. Cassidy had Ty but Gage he was all alone. Just when things are going as planned an event happens and scares Cassidy to leave and not tell Gage- again tortuous and heart wrenching I could just imagine him going out of his mind. Then when I thought it couldn't get worse Cassidy meets someone she had meet long ago and sparks fly. I was thinking there is no way that the author Molly McAdams is going to let this story go down like this having Cassidy fall in love with someone else- I was dying and couldn't put the book down at this point. I won't tell you anymore just go read it! Now the ending was awesome and Author Molly McAdams has a way of leaving no stone unturned when it comes to endings she really buttons it all up for us! If you haven't read Taking Chances then I suggest you read that one as well.
Hot steamy sex but no raunch.
