A veteran of the Army Reserves with over twenty years in uniform and a deployment in Iraq, Robert Evans’ career in the military began in 1984 with enlistment in the United States Navy. From then he has worked in several industries in the civilian sector; Teaching, Retail, Oil-field Engineer, a brief stint as a Stock Broker, and finally landing in the Utility World where he has worked for the past ten years. For most of this time his association with the military was in a Reserve capacity, but in 2004 he answered the call and deployed with the 2688 Transportation Company to Iraq, earning the Army’s Meritorious Service Medal. Robert makes his home in the foothills of central California, with his Wife, two sons, two cats, one dog, four goats, and ten chickens.

The first ugly puss I recognized upon walking into the hanger at Qatar was Billy Mosby, the craziest solider in the whole Middle East. He had more schemes to make a fortune than a Private had excuses, and southern charisma that kept his head from being lopped off by both terrorists and allies.
Sergeant O’Quinn,
he said as he dumped his gear and ambled over in his slow curious way, I knew this was gonna be a great trip when I stepped off the plane.
